The I’ma Boss producer recently inked a deal with Roc Nation Management. Hit the jump for a flick of Jahlil and Hov

Do y’all think the kid has what it takes to make a career out of this? Or is he just gonna be another flash in the pan producer, as many have been before him.

He’s a good producer, and I’ve been following him for years now, but he doesn’t fit at all in the Roc. I really can’t see Jay spitting over one of his beats, unless he changes his style completely.
Jahlil would’ve fit much better in MMG or even WTB.
But he was probably offered a nice deal and took it. Can’t say I blame him.

I like Jahlil’s beats (see what I did thar?) but they just don’t fit Jay’s style. At all. Should have went over to MMG or something of that like.

Jahlil Beats is dope, doesn’t really fit the Roc’s style though.
Except for maybe when Jay-Z is trying to be hard/make a street single.

Jahlil is signed to Roc Nation management which is a different brand of Roc Nation. This just means that he’s gonna have people helping him get his beats out there and give him more resources than he has had before not that he’s an exclusive producer for Roc Nation

^^what he said. It’s a management deal. Basically that video signifies that he won’t have to spam A&Rs with his beats on Twitter. He’ll have a manager making calls telling them to use his beats. He’ll be getting more out there faster, making him more $

What mr.2dope said
He’s not exclusively gonna produce for the Roc, although I’m sure there is a clause of first dibs if they like any.
