Someone needs to eventually realize being a sellout may have nothing to do with race, religion or any other group affiliation. You are only a sellout when you turn your back on the people and things that helped you to succeed. If being in the hood only brought you down, there is absolutely no reason to act hood or go back other than to maybe help other people out if that’s your thing, if not you should be free to live your own life. Messed up cause I know Dee-1, but this subject was handled half-ass. But maybe I’m a biased Uncle Tom since I date nonBlack girls (sometimes even white) and I could care less how many black friends I have, just that they have a positive affect on my growth and income…Oh well.
