NO NO NO NO NO!! Emilio, do NOT go to MMG! There are plenty of other good labels (Shady Records, G.O.O.D. Music, RocNation) to go to and those labels won’t hold back your creativity. Don’t do it, Emilio. Just don’t do it.

wale is doing pretty good on MMG he bout to drop 2 albums and a mixtapes n less than a yr. j cole cd was supose to drop after wale 1st cd and jay z wouldnt even give him a verse untill the day the cd had to be sent for mastering so roc nation wouldnt be a good move either MMG is probably his best move well at least for now he will gain fans like wale did as be able to put out a cd n the next yr

Yeah fo sho, I don’t understand why everyone hates on MMG, like wale is doing a buncha shit like dude above me said, Stalley fucks with MMG and so does Emilio Rojas. I say although rozay can’t rap, business-wise he’s making moves.

Yes, Wale is fitting in at MMG. But what was sacrificed? He’s making songs aimed at ignorance. Emilio makes fun songs, but ignorant songs? With Lex Luger-esque beats? No, that’s just not him.
And he would do great with Roc Nation, because Sony has a hand in that label to. Plus, Emilio makes hella crossover records and doesn’t need help doing so. All they need is good push from ROC NATION, SHADY RECORDS, OR GOOD and they would be smashes. With MMG, he’ll get the same push, but his music will become a bit ignorant.
I suggest he just go the Independent route for a bit. It’ll still have a positive effect on his career.

Honestly nothing has really changed with Wale. Wale still makes all types of records. You heard the label compilation and put it all in one box. 11.1.11 Theory and Lotus Flower Bomb show it’s still Wale but just with the creative freedom to NOT HAVE to put Lady Gaga on the record. Wale got no real push from Interscope cause they had bigger artists and he wants that commercial success so he is working his ass off and trying to hit all markets. MMG and Roc Nation seem to be allowing artists to do them just with access to resources. Big Sean skewed my view of G.O.O.D. Music. The project is good sonically I am just not attached to Big Sean as an artist. Cyhi’s Royal Flush 2 though was dope to me. So who knows. But by and large as long as you don’t sign to a major, YMCMB or a label where the figurehead is always going to jail aka Grand Hustle I think he might be alright.
