  5. one of best albums of the year?!?! wiz album rolling papers, watch the throne did numbers, carter iv that went platinum in a week, all came out this year!!!!! plus ricky rozay and drizzy album is coming out too! how does this saigon compare to that! how many ppl have even heard of this album? if it’s so good, then how come ppl aint messing with it? obviously its not as good as carter iv or watch the throne… ppl just want good music so clearly those albums are better if wayyyy more listen to them then this shxt smh

    Its probably cause Saigon aint depending on the rap game or getting famous to make him successful. He chose to drop some jewels in his music and leave it at that so either people can appreciate what he saying or go back to listening to some commercialized watered down bullshit. Now whether this album is better then WTT? I dont know because trying to compare them doesnt make sense because Jayz and Kanye cant go back to being underground again. They’re already known artists worldwide so they have way too many fans to just make Otis type records for a whole album so they have to please their fanbase no matter what. Saigon just makes what he wants and thats it cause he dont have to worry about competing on a platinum level. You gotta compare mainstream artists with mainstream artists if you wanna talk numbers and popularity. Compare Lasers to WTT but dont compare albums like Cats & Dogs and GSNT with WTT and C4 knowing that they have no radio or TV presence.
