Bring It Back: G-Unit – Hot97 Freestyle [2003]

In the height of the G-Unit takeover in ’03, Curtis, Banks and Buck hit the Hot97 offices and went through numerous instrumentals while on air with Funk Flex. Buck kicked things off with that Southern bounce with 50 and Banks following up.

  14. @Ayoo, the freestyle you talking about is the second freestyle. it starts with 50 dissing Lil Kim then Banks gets interrupted. Banks was spitting a written from the G-Unit album though “Eye For Eye”

  19. Complex missed when the Re-up Gang hit Cypher Sound & spit a freestyle there. They all went in hard (pause).

    Man outside of G-Unit there wasn’t a better group in hip hop during that time.
