  7. Silent Movies For The Blind? Are you serious? Not to mention Cage released an album called Movies For The Blind less than 10 years ago. The Dopehouse is by far the best blog for hip-hop but when your competition is NahRight and IllRoots thats not saying much. All 3 of them have biases and show more love to a particular artist. Its become accepted now. Shawn Chrys is to 2DBZ what Rich Hil is to IllRoots.

  10. Sorry for the double post due to weird commenting process.. Nobody sets rules, its called responsibility. You have an outlet here and its obvious you love good music, just dont let personal relationships sully the reputation you and Mek have created for yourselves by putting up music that you might think is cool but because you know the rapper on a personal level you give them shine when theres artists out there that deserve it more.

  15. Nobodys trying to right any wrongs or be a crusader, and definitely not trying to start a site.. just voicing an opinion in the COMMENTS SECTION of the blog I go to on a daily basis. And NIB its definitely not the same as the example you used. Its like going to my fav restaurant, knowing they have food that I love, but everytime I go there they tell me about some bullshit pie that nobody likes but they keep pushing it because someone close to them is making them. Id make a comment in that situation just as quickly as Id comment on a 2DBZ post. And dont kid yourself, nobody is actively seeking out a shawn crys song just to talk shit or “hate”. Its here, its extremely mediocre and derivative, and it gets commented on. Simple as that.
