Game – Dreams (prod. Kanye West) [Original Version]

Similar to the scrapped version of “Runnin,’” the homie Tanvir (nice website, by the way) sent over yet another song from The Documentary that was ultimately left on the cutting room floor. This version is actually a lot more somber than the one that ended up on the album, and perhaps if this was used instead…

  1. Nice!!

I liked the old version anyways… The Documentary was great

  2. I like Frank. But I like you better.

  3. and perhaps if this was used instead… WHAT?

  4. This song doesnt fit Game’s ego. He’d rather fuck an R&B bitch like Mya than dream about being a doctor…

  5. I doubt this is the original, it doesnt seem right for some reason

  6. This Shit Is Not As Good As The Orginal.

  7. This sounds horribe, it’s making my laptop speakers vibrate lol.

  8. This comes after the Documentary came out… He was still on G Unit.. and he says “..beef is stupid like the things the Game and 50 Cent went through..”
    Come on now..

“Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?”

  9. @ JPM, you a lame. You think Game and 50 didn’t have beef before having beef with each other? Fucking dick. This version is a lot less Gangster etc. That’s probably the reason they made him switch it up.

  10. he speaking some real shit on here something i can relate to i like this alot better just wish it was better quality

  11. I’m not really a Game fan at all, but this is better than the original version to me. The basketball line and the mineral line were questionable but overall a VERY good song.

  12. This dude feeding you these tracks is a lame, the version of One Blood is actually One Blood remixed over some other track, I cant remember it but it’s out there. This shit is fake as well, Listening to the song it self should make it obvious that this isn’t a cut since there’s references to, Hurricane Katrina, the death of Richard Pryor, and of course the beef between Game and 50, all of which happened after the documentary.

  13. classic. i bet game would never make songs like this again.

  14. @Fakeeeeee

It was the instrumental from “Murder Dem Murderers” by Kam that was used in the One Blood Remix. You’re right its fake

  15. he said “beef is stupid like the things 50 cent and the game went through”….but 50 cent and game werent beefing until 2007…this was 2005. unless im misreading the lines the timeline doesnt add up at all. this sounds like a remix

  16. this version is a lot better than the popular version. way more lyrically concious.

  17. I miss this game… Game fell off, all the way almost.

  18. he talking about way more realer suff on this version it would be interesting if he would of used this version love that album the documentary classic

  19. Fake? You guys heard him pause for the “Dream,” part of the sample in the first verse right?

“Going to college was a (dream).”

  20. sound quality’s ass…

  21. Interesting to hear this, pretty dope. Prefer the album version though.

  22. of course the quality is gonna sound bad its not mastered..and some of the lines on here was dope..the chorus was great still great

  23. and isnt this one of the songs 50 said he wrote for game?? and if so maybe this version is the one game wrote and the album version is the one 50 wrote

  24. its not tha fact that its not mastered, it ain’t even mixed + whoever encoded it fucked up big time

  25. CLASSIC JOINT.

  26. @Huh? dude 50 & Game started beefin shortly after the Documentarys release which was in 05 not 07

  27. I like it. The flow ain’t as smooth as the album version but it’s still nice.
And to the people saying “This ain’t as good as the original version” are you retarded? This IS the original version. You mean “It’s ain’t as good as the ALBUM version.” fucktards

  28. or he just meant beefs they went thru respective of each other? come on now

  29. he wasn’t referring to their beef between each other, but their separate beefs. 50 with Ja Rule and Benzino, Game with Joe Budden and Suge Knight. get real.

  30. dope.. I wish he would get deep like that still instead of rapping about nothing…

  31. Most likely this version didn’t get the green light due to the lines about Iraq/Afghanistan being anti-war. I can see Dre or the execs not wanting that to see the light of day
