Pac Div’s “She” Will Finally Be Available…

After three very long years, the full version of Pac Div’s “She” will finally make its debut for mass consumption on their upcoming EP The DiV, set to drop November 8th. It still remains the most played cut on my iPod to this day, and I’m finally excited that they’re letting everybody have a copy. No I.D., Like, Swiff D, Cook Classics (who produced “She”), Blended Babies, DJ Rahi and Mickey Park are all set to contribute to the project. Nice. Props to Pac Div Daily for the heads up.

Who Wants Juelz Santana Tickets?

Let’s be honest with each other: this show is a not-so-subtle way of saying it is going to be a Diplomat affair.

Tri-State Area residents of the dopehouse: On Tuesday, October 4th, “only” Juelz Santana – alongside Big BZ, John Depp, J. Lie and Sino Sinatra – are set to perform at Manhattan’s SOBs, and here’s your chance to win passes to catch them all perform. How do you enter to win? Simple: enter your full, real name and legit email in the c-section down below where applicable (not in the comment itself, unless you want some random spam bot flooding your inbox for the next 50-11 years), and write “entered” in the comment. I’ll pick two persons out of the mix as the winners (a pair of tickets each). It’s not that hard, right? Tri-State Area residents/those who actually plan on being in New York the time of the event enter only. Good luck. Those that don’t win can still cop your tickets here via TicketWeb.

MarQ Spekt & Kno (of CunninLynguists) – MacheteVision (Artwork x Tracklist)

Artwork by Flux.

Running into MarQ at SXSW last year in Austin, I remember him telling me he had a project with my man Kno on the horizon. I wasn’t fully aware of dude to be honest, and took it with a grain of salt and kept it pushin’. Fast forward to my recent adventures in Europe with CunninLynguists and I’m now a firm believer haha. These dude’s have some heatrocks ready for y’all. October 25th is the date.

From the rubble of a post-apocalyptic Hip-Hop landscape littered with bloodied man purses & tattered skinny jeans, two men emerge as the law in a lawless land. Armed only with battled-worn machetes and gritty instrumentals, MarQ Spekt & Kno of CunninLynguists will descend upon The Temple of
Auto-Tune on October 25th to lead one final push in eliminating the remaining scourge and returning high-minded grime to its rightful place in the Pantheon of Rap. Flanked by like-minded mercenaries such as Action Bronson, Deacon The Villain, Meyhem Lauren and more, these guardians of grime will prove once and for all that nobody is safe — especially if they borrow their girlfriend’s pants.
