  10. he’s not overrated. his rhymes just fly over your head. you have to have some level of intelligence to understand Evidence. unfortunately most hip hop fans today read, write and speak at a 3rd grade level so it’s not surprising that he doesn’t have as much fans as other rappers.

  15. instead of just saying something is overrated cause you cant figure out why this album is dope off top so you wanna compare everything to Kendrick. Why dont you listen and try to figure out why this album is dope. This aint that emotional rap about a bunch of girl shit that some of you seem to think is the best hip hop and this aint that lyrically going around in circles and barely making any sense type shit either. I thought Kendrick sucked when I first heard him so I went back and did my homework and then listened to his whole album until I figured out why people say he’s dope so im just saying with Cats and Dogs do the same thing. There aint just one style thats dope and not everybody wants to rap like Kendrick on rigamortus. Especially someone thats been out alot longer and on another level to begin with. Not everybody jumps all over a beat and then changes their rhyme scheme up every time the wind blows. Ev rhymes in his own pocket on a beat in a pattern that he made up himself, he didnt just bite his flow from somebody else and he’s droppin jewels in every verse and the shit he rhymes about is relatable since some of you hate lyrics about money. Ev – It Wasnt Me “Name by Will I Am, maybe made a millie, maybe I dont give a damn.” Plus his style of beats is also his own sound and trust me this shit would make Dr Dre prolong Detox even more this shit goes so hard. So if you looking for some soft n mellow vibe, sing you a lullaby, music for care bears type of shit? Then Cats & Dogs aint for you cause just the weight of one song on here alone is heavier then some of these rookies whole albums. Be open minded to shit thats different then what your used to. If you get the album and you cant figure out why I would make a big deal about it being dope ( most of you will recognize right away though ) then listen again until you catch what im talking about cause once you do you’ll be playing this shit all the time. This kind of album only comes once a year so hey im gonna speak on it. Lastly if you havent noticed the west is smashing right now and its coming down like Cats and Dogs. One
