^THIS. I was thinking this when I saw the picture. Of course, Toomp, Swizz, fuck even Stargate. People don’t realize that The Neptunes are not really the shit in rap anymore. Niggas would kill for a Neptunes beat back in the day, but there’s so many more versatile producers out there, nobody cares. All P’s beats sound the same. There I said it. And they’re usually the weakest songs on albums. Cause P can’t blend his sound with the sound of the artist a lot of the time.
Unlike the others, I’ll look forward to it. I don’t have any negative thoughts about it as that’s just a stupid thing to do since it could be a hot track which these people just look stupid down-talking it beforehand.
