  1. The rapper who calls himself Rick Ross is a made up character based on Freeway Rick Ross a convicted drug trafficker William was born in a nice neighborhood in miami. He graduated high school went to college to play football and spent a year at University studying criminal justice In 1996, Freeway Rick Ross was sentenced to life imprisonment At the same time in a miami prison a person called William Leonard Roberts II obsessed with that gangsta lifestyle was busy performing correctional officer duties including shooting an inmate attempting to escape

    If you look at pictures of both men you will see they look very similar. Both have a shaved head and the famous beard and what a coincidence they are both called Rick Ross and used to sell cocaine

    In 2008 when he was first arrested, The officer assigned his case to the gang task force Because of the topics and subject matter he talks about

    Do you have anybody from a Carol City gang that you have information on or basis of any knowledge that says he is affiliated with them
    Do you have anything that shows you he was affiliated with any gang
    Hernandez replied No I do not
    Zamren also got Hernandez to acknowledge that prior to the January 2008 bust Ross had never been arrested in Miami-Dade County where he lives
