With a full video on the way, Macklemore gives us a preview of his entrance to the Key Arena at this year’s Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle, Washington. Based off the fan’s reaction, him and Ryan Lewis are definitely on the right path. Hopefully it continues in nothing but a positive light.

Crazy to think that Big Boi barely filled 25% of The Key the next day. Good to see Seattle really supporting their own.

I was there, the setup was horrible, you couldn’t get back on the floor once you left, so I either got something signed by Macklemore or saw Wiz Khalifa up front, so I left to meet Macklemore and he’s one of the most humble dudes I’ve met. He’s definitely on the rise.
Side note: Kendrick Lamar & Big Boi was the next day and it was fuckin great.

kendrick lamar should have had macklemore’s spot. mac performed right before wiz khalifa, and even though most seattle-ites know macklemore, probably 3/4 of those people were there to save a spot for wiz, real talk. kendrick performed the next day and fucking RIPPED it, but there were no more than 100 people in the key arena. of course i’m thankful for the opportunity to be in the front row of a kendrick concert, but he didn’t get the love he deserved. macklemore is good, but that audience was definitely not all there for him.

There’s not a snowball’s chance 75% of those people were waiting for Wiz with that type of reaction.
