Mobb Deep To Release New EP On Black Friday

On November 25th, Havoc and Prodigy are set to make their formal return to music with the release of their first retail project since 2006′s Blood Money (we’re just gonna forget that ever happened), an as-yet-untitled EP…

“It feels good man,” Hav added about he and P’s new deal. “It’s a long time coming. Now we could really be in control of our own destiny. It’s all on us now. For right now we’re gonna focus on the Mobb. But the label situation is set up to break other acts. We’re gonna be versatile with it. We’re not gonna just get the homie from up the block. We’re gonna get talent. We’re definitely serious about it.” – XXL

  1. Yeah I’ll be all over that.

  2. Fuck yea. As long as they stay away from the bullshit “rappers” that are in, then this will be dope

  3. it aint gonna touch ray j new shit doe

  4. I used to be a fan when i was a kid but now im older i have grown up and listening to 2 of the first studio gangstas still talking bout the same old shit and now they are like 35 36 na sorry it aint for me

  5. what would this be released on?

  6. So what exactly is everyone’s gripe with Blood Money? Aside from the beats being a bit more mainstream (not even by that much), it’s the same thing Mobb Deep’s been feeding rap fans for almost two decades now.

  7. Blood Money was dope…one of the best projects that came outta G-Unit records I donno wtf they talking about

  8. Jordan Black Cement 3s > New Mobb Deep EP

  9. Nigga fuck Mobb Deep. Who still checking for P? Dude can’t spit anymore. That Bumpy Johnson tape was weak as hell.

  10. Yeah Blood Money was dope everyone just started tripping cause it was G-Unit, just the association of it threw everyone off.

Some dumbass bloggers on this site.

  11. “Blood Money” was a nice album, easily better than “Americas Nightmare”. i’m checking for this new EP but why we gotta wait for so long if it’s already complete though?

  12. P and Hav seem to be going the independent route which means they won’t be getting much play on MTV/BET. sucks that mainstream media doesnt support pioneers of this game such as Mobb Deep and Wu. Either way, we could expect some great production(Hav, Alc, Sid Roams) backed by good rhymes. theres no question that Hav is the not as good lyrically but if they have good features(Big Noyd, Twin Gambino, Nas) this could be a classic

  13. Too bad half the shit rappers say never happens. They never know how to drop a project on a realease date (Jay electronica? the RED album? I could go all day). Hope that they actually mean it

  14. lol you listed two things
