  10. hes got a little bit of jays chum on his face, got make it to the top though. Kanye had to do it to so don’t hate..

  11. interviews about your mentor? main J. Cole is waaayy to good to do a Interview about someone else’s old album. ask about Cole World, the singles, the tour, the fans… C’mon man

  12. God damn you guys are dumb as fuck. Why the fuck would J. Cole ever hate on Jay? Jay’s stats speak for themselves and that alone should stop your pointless bullshit hate. And then you add the fact of everything Jay has done for him…you’d hate on that man? You’d hate on your boss that gave you creative control and let you ride with your own shit how you wanted to? And that could do even MORE than what he has already done for you?

You keep posting your bullshit hate and Cole will release an album that Jay has stated is a classic, regardless of what we think of it, Jay listening to his shit is more than most of you will ever do with your life. So instead of hatin on a young dude workin, start workin and say some hatin shit when you really have a leg to stand on instead of an alias to hide behind.

  13. interview with a uni-brow vampire.

I’m with you. That albums is way overrated and I never considered it a classic. I’ll put any of Ghostface’s first three albums against the blueprint and all of them crush it.

bkimbriel – Jay never said his album was a classic. Misquote. Sorry. Never said it.

The term classic is way overused in hip hop.

Especially when there are only about 20 classic albums ever released. If that.

Classic used to mean the album had no flaws. It was perfect. You could put the album on and not skip a song. Jay has never released an album where every song was worth listening to. Never.

Nas, Snoop, KRSI, PAC, Public Enemy, Slick Rick, Dre, Biggie, Ghost, Rae. That’s a few and the list isn’t that long. You would have a a hard time naming anyone to this list in the last decade.

If you listen to these singles Cole has released which I will never listen to again I can tell you with certainty that this album will never be a classic. Those songs are getting skipped.

It breaks no new ground and brings nothing new to the art.

He’s a nice rapper but to expect him to make the list that I listed is insane.

  15. Hate Hate Hate Hate. Coming from somebody who is a huge fan of Ghost and Rae I can honestly tell you that they dont have perfect albums either. Why people compare Ghost to Jay I will never understand cause their just too far apart to make any comparisons. Classic albums come from a number of different factors that make them classic and some things dont even have to do with the music. Like Timing in terms of what year it was and who else was poppin in contrast and what else was going on in the culture at the time. If a album changes the next five years of hip hop from the sound to lyrical perspectives to style to the marketing of other albums and opens up a new lane that lasts then chances are it was a classic. The fact that a BP1 has been brought up so many times from almost every hip hop outlet when discussing classics is a sign that maybe its true. Just saying

  16. Blueprint is unskippable in my eyez, and it’s classic. This is the album that contained “Takeover”, which is 1 of the few diss records where Jay isn’t subliminal. Plus all the hits that was on there is crazy. It was also Jay’s most creative and rawest album. Only had 1 guest appearance, and a damn good one @ dat

Plus “Breathe Easy” is top 5 best lyrical song ever

  17. im sure cole had that blueprint on rotate, til december came and stillmatic dropped.
    CLASSIC. no skipping.

  18. “Classic used to mean the album had no flaws. It was perfect. You could put the album on and not skip a song.”… wtf??? that means no one got a classic. I fcuk with Bigs music, but I know both his albums were great but definitely not flawless. how many krsone tracks can you name?? How many ghost or rae track can you name? how many people could name five track off of apollo kids??? you niggas taking this classic shit way to far. none of these artists got “100 BEST songs” articles or impact that jay had. seriously dawg, jay maybe overrated and out of his prime but no one is touching his albums (minus Kingdom Come). illmatic, chronic, reasonable doubt, strictly for my niggaz were all dope albums but there are tracks i definitely skip.

his work speaks for itself, he gives you things you could ride too not one track hit album with corny production. 12+ albums deep in the game and the hate is worse than ever. blueprint is still relevant to this day and its 10 years old.

    heart of the city

now every day I wake up
Somebody got a problem with Hov’
What’s up you all niggas all fed up ’cause I got a little cheddar
and my records moving out the store?
Young fucks spitting at me, young rappers getting at me
My nigga Big predicted the shit exactly
“More money, more problems” – gotta move carefully
’cause faggots hate when you getting money like athletes
    Yung’uns ice-grilling me, oh – you’re not feeling me?
Fine; it cost you nothing – pay me no mind
Look, I’m on my grind cousin, ain’t got time for fronting
Sensitive thugs, you all need hugs

this nigga jay really needs to retire. too much bullshit in the game. good music is good music, stfu comparing blueprint to albums and artist half niggas on this blog dont know about.
