9th Wonder sits down with HipHopFiend to break down his upcoming album The Wonder Years (9/27) track-by-track.

Enjoy is kind of a ‘West Coast’ track everybody on it’s from the West Coast. I was going to name it ‘Past, Present & Future’ but I didn’t because I didn’t want to feel like Warren G is in the past, I think he lives forever. So I changed that to ‘Enjoy’ because the sample is saying “enjoy” and it’s like that’s what it was for me. So it’s Warren G, Murs and Kendrick. Like a legendary West Coast cat, a present day legend with Murs and a future legend with Kendrick Lamar, and they all West coast.

But if you have some Twitter convos wit 9th you realize his heads up his ass when it comes to Hip Hop. All he knows is how to make dope production.   10. Ain’t nothing but love towards 9th but that is some grimey shit they’re doing Sene. It’s bad enough that they credited him as Blu (that’s a serious oversight BTW… they don’t sound alike at all) on the album but from the interview it sounds like they’re trying to replace him with Blu’s “original” version. The fuck is that about? If you listen to the whole track – which is on youtube – Sene straight up kills that shit. And Sene has been holding it down the last couple of months. Let the boy get his own damn shine…
