3. Sort of meh, but Dat Whoopty Whoop album is underrated lost classic. Last of that classic deathrow sound that paved the way for Curren$y and Wiz, and other laid back stoned spitters… Early EPMD deserves credit for pioneering that style too tho. Curren$y should do a mixtape over the Strictly Business instrumentals. With all this weed rap being popular now I’m amazed that the DPG don’t go back to that old sound instead of trying to sound mainstream and lightweight gangsta.
