9/27 . . Our lifes change!
Considering that Work Out, Who Dat, Lost Ones, Can’t Get Enough, In The Morning, and Lights Please are all on the album/bonus I am not looking forward to the release at all. When you have heard almost half the album it’s not really an epic event and how the fuck did Who Dat make the cut over Cheer Up? Really Cole? Smh
@ rezo
work out and who dat are both bonus cuts, lost ones was a leak that ppl in the listening sessions have stated has been altered and improved (plus u didnt have to listen to it in the first place, it was a leak), can’t get enough is a certified hit, and in the morning and lights please clearly deserve to be heard by a wider audience. also, cheer up not bein on the album is a rumor started by idk who, but cole listed it on his tracklist and hasnt said anything about it since then. but with all that said ur gettin 11-12 new songs (not counting the last bonus track which is also new. every album leaks nowadays anyway i dont think it really takes away from the mistique of any album, that takes time to build anyway
Cole World is gonna get shitted on by Charity Starts at Home that will be the best album released that day…New Tigalllo New Tigallo!
I was at that Vancouver show, shit was amazing. He’s a very good live performer and the album will DELIVER.
Not speaking on anything musically on this album cause everybody gonna have their own opinion but Rocnation could have built the anticipation for Cole alot better IMO. I hope the roll out for Jay Elect is 10x better then the fiasco campaign for Cole.
^lmao u just couldn’t let a J. Cole post go by without stopping by sand spittin something negative, could u?
Why are you complaining about hearing songs? Lights Please is a classic Cole song and it’s pretty obvious he picked it because that’s the song that got him noticed. Nearly the same goes with In The Morning, because its a good commercial song, but needs to reach a larger audience.
Who Dat, Work Out, and Can’t Get Enough are all singles, so why should it surprise you that you’ve heard it?
And Lost Ones? C’mon son, nobody told you to listen to that in the first place. I didn’t and I’m just waiting and expecting a dope song.
In the end, I’m 87% sure that J.Cole will have a dope album? Classic like the stans say? Well, that’s to be seen.
You could look at it as negative if you want but we’ll see how it goes first week. I know I mentioned the same shit before but this video was ok.
This album shoulda done leaked by now, wtf?
marty mcfly wasnt even being negative. j.cole fans are so over sensitive. its embarrassing
@marty mcfly
Honestly, I don’t think it has anything to do with Roc Nation not promoting J. Cole. I think J. Cole wanted to do it all himself which is admirable or stupid depending on how you like to look at the situation. I agree though, the anticipation could have been higher. But then again, its hard to anticipate an album nowadays when everything just leaks/ is over the internet.
ok so no krispy kreme ha kidding but aight so is the broken leg a theory or is all shows cancelled cause thatll be a #deadpromo
Does any one know what mall is that???????
^ edmonton mall its like the biggest mall in north america or some next shit like that
@Marty McFly
My sentiments exactly about the push on the album. Will it be a classic… well Im confident it’ll be dope, and Im hoping AoTY or near AoTY level good.
(***in my MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN voice***) dopeboyz and dopegirlz, on the realz… this is false advertisement, fake anticipation and PR propaganda. 9/27 will go down as HIP HOP’s Y2K. ain’t no fuckin’ classic is gonna be dropped on 9/27. 9/27 will end with children’s tears, a speck of dust followed by the collapse of your made up hero short lived fantasy empire. 9/27 is when GOD comes down and slaughters the SHEEPS and SLAVES of modern time music. blasphemy, travesty, technology and The Book of Deuteronomy. the eyebrow scowl sinner and his seductive army of snakes with their condescending lives will face judgement.
brothers and sisters gettin’ all hyped up, building up adrenaline, taking stereo steroids from silly album snippets. this brother hasn’t dropped a classic song in his life, and yall wanna crown his album a classic. ***(using fingers as props)*** this brother dropped singles after singles after singles after singles after singles. too many god damn FAILED singles after FAILED singles. you would think the brother respected himself more after a barrage of mistakes, but NOOOOOO…he falls victim to his own circumstances.
the intent itself to abandon your righteous soul and degrade yourself in front of your other brothers and sisters is down right eeeeeeEVIL! you are willing to risk the last drop of integrity left in your hollow brain to defend the wackness of this artist, to solidify yourself as leader in an army of idiots is down right eeeeeeEVIL! wake up! WAKE THE FUCK UP!!! brothers and sisters, I ask you tonight to WAKE UP! 9/27 will be the day of desperation, despair and disappointment.

Just being completely realistic and as subjective as possible in an opinion, I think Lights Please and Before I’m Gone could both be considered classic songs. They’re both really dope musically and both easily relatable and have powerful messages. Also Lost One’s sounds like it could be a classic material song from what people are saying even though i’ve never listened. And that one verse of God’s Gift…..I don’t even have to say anything about that.
*objective as possible. not subjective.
I like how everyone hates the guy with the long message, on the real, Cole World will be a classic and for everyone one of you guys hating for no reason knowing deep down you’re gonna go to mediafire and download that shit (like little bitches) and listen to it, This WILL be a classic album, maybe not in numbers(I hope it is though) but in lyrical content, no one besides Kendrick Lamar is lyrically where J. Cole is NO ONE!! 9/27, no one’s stopping him.
lol @ nyc/brooklyn. it ain’t an official j cole thread unless nyc/brooklyn puts a stamp on it. I agree with him with all the hype he got his album won’t be classic.
^^^ I disagree cause I think you need a certain level of hype in order to have a classic. Thats why I made the comment I made earlier cause the music mite not be the problem at all. It mite be the way the album was delivered that keeps it from being felt the way it was supposed to be. @LOS ANGEL If he wanted to do it on his own he didnt have to sign with the ROC. Lupe turned down a couple deals from Jayz before F&L because he wanted to do it his own way and be his own boss.
I’m starting to think NYC Brooklyn is really papoose. hot 93 7 tell us why you mad pap
that was a pretty dope promo. he sounded completely different though….??
I can’t wait to see this live!! Cole World: The Sideline Story 9/27!! http://bit.ly/okreUE
Too bad Blow Up didn’t make the cut. Shit sound super dope live.
@marty mcfly
You don’t need to have hype to drop a classic. Where are you getting that idea. Classic albums are classic because of their material, not how much hype they had surrounding them. Illmatic (a classic) sold 59k in its first week back when people actually bought albums; do those numbers sound like it had any hype?
I’m not expect Cole’s album to be a classic…i’m just gonna listen to it for what it is. Yall puttin too much pressure on dude. When KRIT’s album drops at the top of the year…THATS when you’ll really hear a classic album. He’s the best new rapper in the game…nobody’s fuckin wit dude.
