I like Cudi but I just think it’s stupid that everyone calls him this genius because he’s “emotional” and I believe anything can become “one dimensional” if you do the same thing throughout your whole career. any rapper is emotional in someway idk why but for some reason niggas forget that sadness isn’t the only emotion a person can have joy, anger, etc any rapper that raps about anything can be in touch with their emotions.   23. cudi is amazing. i can understand the haters coz i also didn’t GET him for awhile. but he’s an artist that’s worth making a concerted effort coz repeated listens make you realize how f*ing brilliant he is as a songwriter.
