I mean WTT is a album that I already knew would sound close to Kanye last solo album and I knew it would have commercial music on it so I was excited but not that much. But if you don’t call it a “freestyle” wtf are blogs supposed to call it? “Rhymes to a beat?” “Memorized shit that isn’t on an album yet?” You can’t come up with a good name for it, & if you can then blogs’ll use it. Outta of all the veterans and hip hop legends that ever rapped on radio , I can only think of a few that actually freestyled and they messed up doing it so it was a bad look. These guys aint rappin on the street no more cause they have real products out that generate money. So freestyling is cool but once you get too a professional level I dont think it would be good to rhyme like you just starting putting flows together just to impress people with a freestyle. You have freestyles that are off the top of the head and you have freestyles that are raps over someone elses beat and freestyle is rapping over a track with no hook, hence the term “free” “style” either way they ripped it
