much love for preem and all but as it was said earlier, the dude has been making the same beats since 2000. songs fine, i mean evidence is okay as an mc but preem hasnt produced anything as good as his 90s output.

Ev and Premo wanted the beat to sound oldschool cause its like a throwback type of beat even for Premo because he can make beats that are alot smoother ( but still knock ) and more complex then this. I can tell by the song that Ev purposely wanted to go back to when beats had simple patterns with just a few signature sounds because those beats leave pockets open that rappers used to flow around back in the day like having constant beat drops every 4 bars on some Incarcerated Scarface type shit. If you know Ev then you already know he gonna have beats on the album thats ridiculous and that sound like some underground stadium music. The beats for Strangers , I Dont Need Love and It Wasnt Me off the sampler sound like the hardest beats thats come out in a minute. Just sayin
