Ever since I was put on to Mavado a little over a year ago, he’s become one of my favorite dancehall artists. While it’s a bit surprising to see that he’s now signed to DJ Khaleds’ label, I still await his next release and hope that Khaled leaves his shit alone for the most part.     To be honest, this dissapoints me. Mavado is (was…) one of the best up and coming dancehall artists 2 years ago, he has put out 2 classic albums and was on his way putting out another one. This American DJ Khaled influence will do his bankaccount alotta good but the quality of his music will get less. The nigga is a beast but fuckin with Khaled was a bad decision. I mean what does DJ Khaled really know about Dancehall? I hope Mavado gets his shit straight and like Meka said doesn’t interfere alot with his album. We don’t wanna here no ”We The Best” over some dancehall single.
