Yes, although that “Lion King” theme of his last mixtape was so-so, it really wasn’t as j put it ” cold as ice” or “bullet proof.” Other artist with way less backing *cough* G.O.O.D. Music *cough* are putting out WAAAY harder shit. Period.

Rapping over classic beats in today’s day and ages will not cut it at all! I mean there are more than enough up and coming producing with hot ass beats that need some spotlight!

Blah, so I misread it!
But that doesn’t defeat the fact that for having a 20-track album (or whatever it was), his previous mistake wasn’t memorable enough for me to listen to again, even on a long-ass train ride through London.
And I still stand by everything I said: I expect more from somebody that is backed by a label like G.O.O.D. Music. I mean everything that features Cyhi is fire! Hell, “Rise” on Ross’ shit was the hottest verse I have ever heard from him! Why can’t he replicate that feel on his mixtapes?
And I should tiger knee you in the chest for calling me a dumbass, but I won’t.

I don’t understand why people hate on CyHi so much. Don’t hate on the guy cause you’re too damn dumb to understand his punch lines. I do agree that vol. 2 wasn’t as good as vol. 1 but it was still a dope project. Give his projects a legit listen and you won’t be disappointed.

Royal Flush 2 is what won me over, great mixtape and an instant classic imo. Later went back and got Royal Flush which was cool too.
