That’s actually true, I don’t see how many people can debate that. Jay’s never been my favorite rapper but i’ve always been able to recognize that he’s one of the best and arguably THE best for those reasons. That’s an unbiased opinion.

I’m gonna make this argument. Big Boi is one of my favorite rappers, you just said he had one of the best albums of last year and is on international tours. Big Boi is undoubtly one of the best rappers right? Andre 3000 had to constantly compete with Big Boi on every song on every album under the Outkast name, which is why everyone calls him so great, not only because of his lyrical content, musical talent, and though provoking topics, but the fact that he was able to constantly compete(and sometimes outshine) Big Boi. Your using the group factor as a crutch as to why Jay Z is better, but I feel as though Andre 3000 constantly had to prove more because he was in a group.
