  3. Wow…Wonderful post. I’m a younger generation, so I guess wouldn’t have the same appreciation as the older generation or the generation during Aaliyah’s time. But from watching many of her music videos and now this, I would definitely like to say I’m thankful for living, and would have loved to see her alive and healthy today. R.I.P. to one of R&B’s greatest, Aaliyah Dana Haughton…

  4. I’m gonna say this right now half of these R&B divas that are out now would not as big as they are if Aaliyah was alive. She did records with Treach, Missy, Tim. Went on tour with Puffy, Total, Lil Kim and of Biggie. She was on her way to superstar status. Her albums were her diary and I can only imagine her doing records with the likes of Janet Jackson, Jay Z, Beyonce and more. As a fan of music she made incredible records, As a DJ its a pleasure to know she made hot records that will always be spun, RIP Miss Aaliyah like your song says “I Miss You”.
