clearly not influencing anyone to smoke when the first line is “she told me i should write a song so she could smoke and the fact i rap and i dont is an on going joke”. people don’t become rappers to be role models, rappers and role models are not synonymous. Not to mention there are plenty of other music genres that have bands/artist that aren’t kid friendly. Hell look at classic rock eric clapton has a song “cocaine” and jimi hendrix had plenty of weed references in his songs yet both are considered legends of rock.
