Despite a 59% decrease in sales from last week, Jay and Kanye still managed to sell 177k units in their second week. Keeping the #1 spot on Billboard and giving Watch the Throne Gold status with 612k total (how fitting… w/ the cover and all).

Did any other hip hop album go gold as fast as WTT this year? I doubt it so just stop hating on people cause its ridiculous. Would you rather have the top artists in hip hop flop with their album? That would make everybody in rap look bad. You people gotta know that not everybody likes rap music and alot of people who are in the music business that make other forms of music want rappers to fail. The hate Jay and Kanye and they hate every other successful hip hop artist. So this album doing well is a win for the whole culture not just Jay and Kanye.

Its alot of regular people in the street who aint rich also that hope all these rappers disappear because they hate what the culture represents. Album sales have been getting worse every year for the last 5 years. Whats gonna happen when hip hop artists cant even go gold anymore? You think thats gonna be dope or something? Hip Hop aint running the entertainment side of music anymore cause pop and R&B is and then you people wonder why its less hip hop getting played on the radio. You aint gotta like WTT , you could hate that shit ( even though if you listen to it two years from now I bet you feel it ) but thats another story just understand the purpose of why some artists try to make big albums.

@Cloud 9 , the years of 95-2005 hip hop was running the music game , not in sales but hip hop had more then ten platinum artists coming out every year so thats better then now and what I mean is on the level of hype , hip hop was running shit with successful tours and with bringing in millions all over the place from fashion to films to a bunch of other shit. The game aint like that today and thats why WTT serves a purpose for the culture to try to get that energy back. @whodey , On alot of Jay post I use the words “the culture” so im not just talking about Jayz im talking about all the top hip hop artists but since some of you have all these homo thoughts in your head so you try to express them at me when you get mad , talking about dicks and nuts all the time. How he gonna relate to New Day ( leaving your unborn child a kingdom ) , and Why I love You about making people millionaires and then they turn around and betray you? Theres a bunch of subject matter that Kendrick cant relate too because he’s too young. Kendrick cant relate to their position and Kendrick says he represents “the good kids” thats from the hood and he makes fun of drug dealers. So of course he cant relate to Otis he mite not even relate to Ricky on Games album cause not everybody is representing the good kids when they rap. Im not saying Kendrick aint a street nigga but not too many young rappers can relate to the vets in the game but if he ask some older people in the street to explain the essence of Made in America or lines like “Why are all the pretty icons always all white” On Thats My Bitch ( the non substance song ) He mite open his mind some more. @No Hate Without Ignorance , I dont think you know me well enough to tell me about my knowledge of the game.

All of it is hypocritical. If your favorite rappers album went gold in two weeks you would say sells matter. Sells matter always they just correlate with popularity not quality. When did Kendrick say he couldn’t relate to it ? He should aspire to be on their level. Kendrick is a talented lyricist but let’s be real section 80 was an inconsistent project. Solid concepts throughout with inconsistent execution. I haven’t heard a Kendrick project thats consistent yet. It’s like 60:40 good songs. The bonus tracks on WTT are sick. The album overall is very good not the project I wanted/expected but still good and better than anything I’ve heard this year ! It will go platinum when they start touring. This album changed the landscape of hip hop.

And saying people are dickriding WTT, but then you go on to say Section80 is the best album this year like all the other dick-blowers on this site. So because everyone is sucking Jay and Ye’s dicks, you gotta make sure you go twice as hard on Kendrick’s? That’s your logic. Cut it the fuck out. This shit is getting ridiculous. No where else on God’s green earth do they think Section80 is the best album of 2011, let alone the month it was even dropped. Only niggas on the 2DBZ c-section. ONLY HERE. Take Kendrick out the discussion for a minute. Big Sean has skills on some type of level being that every other bar of his is a punchline. Nas had commercial music back in the day and it was considered skillful. If I Ruled The World was one of the biggest mainstream anthems of that year so both sides of the tracks require skills.

@Bronxx , No because Jay knows its a publicity stunt. I promise you in the next 24 hours that everybody in internet world will be talking about Wayne going at Jay because now its almost like if you wanna promote your album you either gotta talk about Jay on a song or get a verse from him and Jay knows that so he’s gonna keep it G and let Wayne get more buzz off his name. Wayne is like one of those lil niggas in the hood that asks for beef but the minute you bring it to his front door , he sends his O.G outside ( which would be baby ) to get all diplomatic and say its not really that serious. Wayne and Jay will never have any kind of real beef and plus Wayne asked Jay for that verse on C3 so he really needs to stop. @TheMostUniqueRegular… Im not gonna be able to listen to it and get back to you on it today but keep doing your thing.

That’s like me saying a couple years ago Chris Paul was a better player than Kobe Bryant cause he scored 63 points in a High School game. That shit makes absolutely no fucking sense. I have to say…(and this is me being unbiased) Section 80 is a bit better than Watch The Throne. Maybe not “musically” as you put it, but in creativity. How many songs these days sound like ADHD or HiiiPower? Or even Tammy’s Song?
I’m not saying that Kendrick will be the next Pac, cuz that is pushing it. But, if he continues on the path that he’s on, he’ll definately be known as one of the GOATS.
Pauly Dee (Trolololol!! Version) said this on August 24th, 2011 at 9:07 pm
^I’ve heard song like those before though, with the exception of maybe Tammy’s Song. People usually say HiiiPower is Kendrick biting Ye. And even if not, we’ve all heard songs like that before, maybe not on the radio right now. But we have. That goes without saying, I can say the same thing about every track on WTT with the exception of HAM. When’s the last time you heard an album that sounded like that? So I don’t really see what you’re saying as far as creativity goes.
Airborne said this on August 24th, 2011 at 9:15 pm
Jay’s lyrics were classic HOV. But Kanye’s were disappointing.
“Thinking about the girl in all leopard
Who was rubbing the wood like Kiki Shepherd
Two tattoos one read “No Apologies”
The other said “Love is Cursed by Monogamy”
It’s something that the pastor don’t preach
It’s something that a teacher can’t teach
When we die the money we can’t keep
But we probably spend it all cause the pain ain’t cheap, preach” :/
I think that Section80 was a dream-come-true because there was a central theme that made you feel like you were in a dim room for a while. It was dark, but it had a message to convey about a person’s independence. Sure, Kendrick had some weird track’s like “Keisha’s Song” and “The Spiteful Chant” that was sub-par. But most of these tracks on WTT were par.
I think if you want two people going over bodacious bravado Em and Royce were far more entertaining and on-the-same page on every track. I think that has more consistency as a collaborative album than Jay and Ye spazzing over crazily produced beats.
First half of WTT was awesome, second half was meh. Just for the record.
figgy said this on August 24th, 2011 at 9:24 pm
Kendrick dont have to please a commercial audience like WTT had too because he dont have a strong radio following or a mainstream reputation of big records. So stop comparing Section 80 to WTT because they cant be compared. Jay and Kanye are not underground artists cause they passed that level years ago and if you want lyrical dark music then you have your pick of those kind of songs on WTT anyway. Lastly about the Wayne shit , how come Wayne never went at the Clipse or 50 cent when they were talking shit about him but now he talking all this gun shit? This fool shot himself in the chest before so he just need to stick to pop songs. Smh

as far as wayne, i loved that line lol
Kidnap yo bitch, get that how much you love yo lady money
lmao that was the hardest shit i’ve heard from wayne since the dedication 2! yes its all bullshit. so what. its entertainment and marketing. shit i might just fall for it and get me a copy of C4 JUST bcuz of that line lol. the semi-beef is like a breath of fresh air from all the “nah im not gonna respond” bullshit that is all that goes on. eventho it will most likely lead to nothin, the idea of it POSSIBLY leading to something, entertains me and i applaud wayne for doing it.
FTR, there hasnt been beef since the cam/jay-z and that was what? 06/07? too damn long. thats not gangsta. thats not hiphop!

Just proves how easy it is to bait you. Youre the one on every Jay Z post kissing his ass, getting into these back & forths with different ppl. Youre that herb nigga at the party that meets a bitch and bores the shit out of it, or if she disagrees with you, you try to embarass her in front of everybody. People shit on your hero, and here you go with your bullshit.

to bait me? if i see a nigga speaking up on me ima speak on it. nothin to bait. this aint fishing. if i come to the c-section to comment, ima comment on the nigga with my name in his mouth. simple enough?
and im on every jay-z post cuz thats the only shit worth commenting on cuz i know there will be haters. this is just entertainment lol. i handle my business and when im bored slide to 2dopeboyz and see whats poppin. simple enough? sometimes i even let the females that come thru read some of these comments just to see some of the shit yall say. its ridiculous actually. as far as how far you guys will go to insult someone thru a computer over some meaningless shit. and IM the one with no life lol. smh.
but im done talking about this. i didnt come here to argue about nothing. i guess you did with the name dropping and sayin you was “baiting” me in or sum shit. oh well w.e. didnt come here for that. i came to talk music.

Watch the throne was a piece of shit. It seemed more like a kanye ft. Jay-z album than a jay-z/kanye album. “WATCH THE THRONE CUS THEM NIGGAS IS SCARED TO GO OUT LIKE ELVIS”

Talking more about Swagbuck’s search engine, every web page consists of tools which would help guide its users exactly where to go from page to page so that you can gather a lot of data.Exactly the same as the other search engines like google, Swagbucks also provides the same result like any other search engines like google ideal at the internet sites they may be into. You only want to input the key phrases so that you can uncover the expected results.
