  1. This is over a year old?

  2. LOL im thinkin to myself “he cant still be pushin teflon don”..

  3. Yo check my beats, just trying to make good music. Always open for collaborations!!! http://www.soundcloud.com/clarkKENTtheSP and follow me on twitter!!! @OGkae

  4. The rapper who calls himself Rick Ross is a made up character based on Freeway Rick Ross

William Leonard Roberts II born January 28 1976 better known by his stage name Rick Ross is a manufactured gangsta rapper
He graduated high school went to college and spent a year at the historically black college Albany State University in Albany Georgia studying criminal justice
Then trained and passed as a CO William worked as a CO for 18 months
Had a clean record untill January 2008

  5. I’m not the biggest rick ross fan either his music is extremely repetitive and seems to be self centered but you can’t discredit or just say he’s fake…. of course some of the shit he says is an exaggeration but just because he was a correctional officer doesn’t mean he’s full of bullshit. For all anyone knows he could have been pushing that shit in the penitentiary and making atleast a 3-4 hundred percent profit.

  6. When Ross picks a beat and a singer to feature on a song like he did for all his singles the smash on radio like:

    The Boss ft. Tpain
    Speedin ft. R Kelly
Here I Am ft. Avery Storm
    Magnificent ft. John Legend
All I Really Want ft. Dream
    Lay Back ft. Robin Thick
    Super High ft. Neyo
Tears OF Joy ft. Cee lo
Maybach Music 3 ft. Erykah Badu
Aston Martin Music ft. Chrisette Michele & Drake

This is why Ross keeps winning so songs like BMF and MC Hammer are not the only thing he can do well. Just saying

  7. Not gonna front, I used to be a Rick Ross fan. That is, until I saw through his shit. Not only is dude mad repetative and terrible lyrically, but he’s responsible for some of these wannabe gangstas walking the streets, thinkin they hood.

Same uninspiring lyrics, same boring flow, same fake subject matter…

  8. Yeah Pauly since you represent the streets and can speak on the hood way better the Ross does cause your a real G right? Smh

  9. I never said I was a G, I said he’s inspiring wannabe G that really haven’t lived a hood life or anything of the sort. He’s trying to make it cool to live in the ghetto and that shit is something that I don’t think anyone can stand for.

  10. I dont think he’s inspiring people to stay in the hood with those kind of singers on pop type songs and with a label name like Maybach music that really doesnt sound ghetto to me.

  11. ^I keep telling dudes Ross got that formula. He knows what he’s doing.

    @FREEWAY1

    NOBODY GIVES A SHIT.

  12. just cos a nigga fat don’t make him biggie. just me?

  13. ^^^LOL I love how you guys always go back & forth with each other like an old married couple… I can always count on you two to make me laugh.

    ————————–

Everyone knows Ross is fake… idk why niggas gotta keep trying to air out shit that is common knowledge. Ross being a fraud doesn’t change the fact that he can produce hits. Ross may not be lyrical… but the nigga can make bangers, and in the hood that’s all that matters nowadays.

This isn’t the ’90s, where real gangstas ruled a hood niggas system… now all that matters is that the nigga isn’t goofy and can make some smooth ass shit. And Ross or William (whichever you prefer)… makes some SMOOTH ass shit.

God Forgives, I Don’t is gonna be a hot tape… guaranteed.

  14. ^^^ The shit makes me laugh too but Im just saying lets say Ross is the fakest person on earth and he was a cop that was eating more krispy kreme donuts then J Cole every morning. Ok I get that but that still doesnt change what he does musically cause most times he makes a song , it works and the songs I listed is just proof of that.

  15. respect ross, he be makin some sik music lately, teflon don was one of the best albums of 2010. he also buildin a nice empire signing sum talented artists. i can allow all that correctional officer shit but dont u jus hate it wen they compare him to the greatest mc of all time biggie smalls… ugh! wtf

RESPECT ME NIGGAS, I HUSTLE PERIOD

  17. ^lmfao at ross pic on your link, nigga just got a deal wit jordan.imma steal dat pic hahahahahaha

  18. I used to be a Ross hater but the guy recognises talent he signs good rappers and hes really good at picking beats, i could give a fuck if he was a C.O when he makes (not always) good music

  19. Ross is a hot artist man fuck yall hatin n worried bout this niggas personal life. He makes dope music. Pac use to do ballet but i dont hear yall sayin he was ever “fake”

  20. Also yeah Ross is fake, but so is 90% of the gangsta rap genre are you gonna start hate on that too now?

  21. ^^^When has ballet made someone fake?

  22. ^Nigga its ballet and Pac pushed the Thug image like no other. Never heard anyone say he was pussy or wasn’t real

  23. ^^^He was in a school of performing arts, nigga have you ever heard of an inner city youth. Just because he went there did not mean he didn’t have to go back to the hood to live, it was just a place to escape that shit for a minute. You act as if he went to Harvard and graduated top of the class.

  24. Whats the name of the song?

  25. @WOW

Lmao. If you talking about being a a thug and a outlaw and you used to do ballet and used to love being in drama class with Jada Pinkett…I mean, no need to even say more. People need to understand this is entertainment. Ross did what so many other niggas including Pac and Big have done. He created an image to go with his music. People should realize by now that whole thug shit was Pac acting out what a modern day black panther would be like in those times and using the thug image to appeal to niggas in the streets so they can listen to his music and pick up the social and political issues, and it worked. Big’s people said he used to bag groceries and he never was the type to hurt anybody, and Jay-Z wasn’t in the mafia in 95.

  26. Ok so who says Ross didnt have to go back to the hood to live when he got off of work? the rougher parts of Dade County aint no hoe either. I love Pac’s shit, im jus sayin ballet and all that thug talk has to be equal to being a C.O.(not even a real cop) and talkin all that coke shit

  27. @Pauly Dee

Ross doesn’t really promote living in the hood like marty said. He talks about mansions, linen suits, and luxury cars. Ross is more mafioso, occasionally dope boy type music. Can’t wait for God Forgives, I Don’t. I know he has a new sound that everyone’s gonna jump on.

  28. ^^^I understand it’s entertainment I support Ross and Pac and your argument is not with me I just as how does Ballet make somebody fact? The music industry and entertainment as a whole is mostly compiled of lies. None of these new niggas have killed or slain anybody, matter of fact a lot of them use the names of the O.G. as their stage names, I know that. I was just asking how does expanding your horizon as a ballet, actor and not to mention multi platinum artist makes you fake. If anything Pac is the realist emcee ever, while still pregnant his mom was a Black Panther. Having that type of blood run through your veins before being born is G to me.

  29. my fault typo I meant ask and fake

  30. ^True true. And I wasn’t arguing with you. I was just agreeing with Shawty that doing ballet and then being a thug is almost equal to being a C.O. to being a drug runner. They’re both funny, and can be very true, or they could be images put on by the entertainer.

  31. Do yall listen to R&B? do u think babyface was in love everytime he wrote a love song? Sometimes he just wrote some smooth shit that he knew the ladies would like. Now apply that logic to rick ross and every other rapper prior to him. Real doesnt apply to art. Art is supposed to make you feel how the artist intended the audience to feel. and ross knows his audience and they feelin him so jokes on the naysayers

  32. Man Vs Food: Rapper Edition.

  33. Fuck rick ross. I dont listen to soap opera raps.

  34. soap opera???? fuck is this nigga talkin bout
