A Man Named Scott is scrapped everyone, I know its a bummer but ive just been too busy with this new album and thats where all my energy and focus is right now. I gotta work on what moves me creatively. After this im going straight to work on MOTM3 so dont trip. You’ll definately have the WIZARD album this year so no worries. Trust im working extra hard to make this shit as amazing as possible and get yall some new jams. Again, sorry for the late notice. I know youll understand, I hope you understand ha :)

I feel like this is exactly like Wayne… MOTM2 wasn’t great, just like Carter III. Then they both do a rock album. Wayne’s was horrible, and I’m not expecting much better from Cudi. If the pattern continues, Cudi is gonna completely fall off soon. I hope Wizard and MOTM3 are good and I’m wrong, but I don’t know.

Wayne’s rock album was bad because he used cliches of the genre and most of the album was really rap.
Cudi has a chance because he is a very creative person.
(But, to be perfectly honest, the only artist that I can see actually pulling off a GOOD Rock album is B.o.B)

I was expecting this to be honest. At the moment I don’t even listen to Cudi anymore, and that’s coming from a HUGE fan. It’s like this stage you usually have, when you still have the albums on your iPod, but never listen to it. And with MotM3 coming out in at least 1 year, maybe even more, that’s not gonna change. I mean the Wizard album sounds cool but is very likely to fail.

Cudi makes alternative music but without even trying to use a guitar or any alternative formats of music at all. He doesnt even try to sing really he just harmonizes. At least Wayne really tried to learn how to play the guitar for the Rebirth album and he wrote the lyrics as if they were really rock songs with the same kind of bridges and hooks as real rock songs. Cudi doesnt take his craft that far because it sound like his songs are just freestyles after he smokes ten blunts.

I’m a reserved Cudi fan. I think his debut is overrated. It had a few great songs but wasn’t a good album. I just respect Cudi as an innovator, he is a leading a new sound into hip hop. I applaud his risk taking in experimenting with his music

I don’t hate Cudi for this because he has gave us great work whether it be from his earlier mixtapes or his two dope albums. He can only do so much in terms of being an artist, he is just that. You will never see him rapping like a Nas and he will not be the next Cobain, he just makes dope ass music, that this era and generation in particular has come to like. Is it fucked up that he backed outof making the mixtape, yea but he reason for doing so is legit, which is to make a more quality of an album. I respect him for atleast saying that I’m not doing a mictape instead of letting people know nothing, but if that album is ass he is on his own. But I doubt that will be the case.

It would’ve been nice if he did, but it’s probably in his best interest not to. When you really start establishing yourself as an artist, you don’t really drop mixtapes anymore. Wiz hasn’t dropped anything after Rolling Papers, Drake doesn’t drop mixtapes anymore, Wayne only did it as a consolation for C4 and those were just freestyles, and that’s what you expect from Wayne. Drake and Cudi are not gonna drop a whole tape of them rapping on other people’s instrumentals. They’re bigger artist then that, they’re both not really just rappers. I hope with this, Wizard and MOTM3 will be good, quality music. If he can make that happen, then I’m happy. I’m tired of mixtapes anyway. I want good, quality, properly mastered, studio albums.
