  7. How can you be tired of mixtapes, dumbass? Often times there is no difference between a mixtape and an album nowadays… Wale’s releases should be called free albums actually, and not mixtapes since they’re not mixed, and contain original production!

    I am thoroughly tired of mixtapes. They are becoming experimental test beds for artist to try and branch out or try new shit without being ridiculed by consumers. Just be real and drop a real-ass album. period!

  24. The reason he put the # of followers is because he said when he reaches “1 Million” followers, he would drop 10 new songs. Ended up turning into a promo mixtape for the “Ambition” album which is set to drop 11.1.11.

    Naw man. Most mixtapes are nothing like albums. The way an album is produced and mastered is totally different from the way a mixtape is. Unless it’s a free album, and most will say it’s a free EP or album, and sometimes it still sounds like a mixtape.
