That boy Mikey stays working, don’t he? With both his solo project The Rocks Report and group debut When Fish Ride Bicycles both available, he now plans on dropping Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe later this year. Here are the first set of visuals for that one.
Some people were hatin’ on When Fish Ride Bicycles… but those same people were pretty much anticipating that tape like it was Detox or a Jay Electronica mixtape.
The album IMHO was nice/smooth, and Mike’s project was hella cool. I’m just hoping they actually make it in the game, how much mainstream people name-drop them in their vocals… I’m surprised they haven’t been featured in a big mainstream hit yet.
When Fish Ride Bicycles was good, but I just want to hear another bake sale from The Cool Kids. Other then a few acceptions they have not been able to recapture that style, and I loved that style.
i think bake sale and when fish ride bicycles are about equally good but i like gone fishin and tacklebox more honestly
When Fish Ride Bicycles was dope. I can listen to “Roll Call” anytime. I could careless if they were mainstream. They do deserve more attention though.
They gave out so much dope free music over the years. Fans should automatically buy the album to show their support. The Cool Kids are some of the pioneers of this whole internet movement.
Mikey is one of the dopest artists out and has been for a minute. killin em with the smooth flow
