I dont like the album. I like “Murder To Excellence,” thats about it, “The Joy” too. I dont see whats so special about “Otis”. I’ve followed Jay & Ye their whole career. I’m 33 years old. I was fully expecting to love this album, but the only song that has gotten any replay since that first day has been Niggas In Paris. I’m VERY disappointed- Ye was lyrically weak, and the entire album was like listening to audible ADHD (way too many song switches that NEVER came off smoothly, random noises and effects that didn’t belong at all, layers to beats that definitely should have been cut, etc.). Overall, it came off as totally contrived, and completely underwhelming, and that’s coming from a huge Jay fan and a pretty big Kanye fan.

but to clarify things those posts were made after the the royce joint with dj premier to further explain my reason. which was royce is trash, and thats what led me to say,

the song is dope. royce did kill that shit. but the beat by dj premier is what put it over the top. cuz his flow was “ehh” but his punchlines were hot. fab could of kiilled it better tho. so whoever said royce is the best out, knock it off.
