2dbzBBQ: West Coast Edition (Recap)

MEKA: Another year, another successful charity BBQ. Without the likes of my many friends, the Cashmere Agency, all of the sponsors and most importantly the attendees, we would not have been able to pull off the first of many (2)Dope BBQs in Los Angeles. We appreciate everybody.

SHAKE: While last year’s BBQ in NYC was full of great times, I must say… it did feel good to bring it back to the West Coast. Shouts to the little girl who had a raging vendetta against me at the dunk tank (how she knock me down before many of y’all rappers tho!? Haha… looking forward to next year already.

Once again, big shouts to everyone that came through and donated. We — and the children of Haiti — really appreciate it!

  6. shake you need to stop letting these little boys irk you man…

on another note “she will” dropped, post it!! whoo

  7. I always find it funny when I see these dudes getting on Shake n Meka but yet ya’ll are consistently here grabbing music or checkin up on shit lol.. kinda hypocritical if u ask me… why dont yall get some kinda lives n quit mooching free wifi from your moms basements.

Im kinda curious on their image of what they think bloggers n DJs are supposed to portray n look like… theyre not Rappers, so why compare them to em?

  8. “shake you need to stop letting these little boys irk you man…”

oh no, it doesnt irk me in the slightest. i laugh at it all.

  16. Mayn I remember coming to this site way back when and shake and meka had to use pics of themselves; it was with their faces cut out. Now fully fledged interviews and err’ting.

Good looks with the charity work!

  20. That was dope. Not many music blogs with the same popularity/impact as 2DBZ reach out and do stuff like that.

  21. Maybe next time you’ll have performances by Lupe and Tyler the Creator…….. I’m joking. All for a good cause. Hope you guys have another one next year.

  22. Great times, happy to be a part of a dope event for charity…especially one with heads that appreciate the dope shxt…
