Eminem > Biggie > Nas > Pac > Jay
ANyone else isn’t worth debating. I won’t make Biggie 1 because his body of work was too small. He only released 2 official albums, he didn’t have enough time to show a long consistent career. I put Pac 3 due to him not being as lyrical as people try make him out to have been. Pac was a deep dude, with a message in a lot of his music, but he was not on the lyrical level of Nas.
@Rezo
Eminem over Nas, tho? Tht’s crazy. Every man has his opinion iGuess, & iCan’t really knock ur list….good sht.
Em does not even belong at that list and there are many other names to consider.
Nas is straight up boring CHE; Shitmatic is the most overatted album of-all-time; the guy has one flow, a poor choice in beats and his afrocentric history lessons are laughably ignorant.
and lol @ Pac being in anyones top 20.
saywhat must be under 21 or strung out, because “represent” and “it aint hard to tell” by nas are still shittin on 50% of the music that’s come out in the past 5years. you’re right about his poor beat choice and recent music, but don’t OD on f#ckery chief
Kids, shut the fuck up about a list and enjoy the music from the artists that appeal to you. Rappers don’t give a fuck about what fickle internet head has to say about their lyrics, beats, or who you think is better or worse…especially those who DL the music, don’t buy albums, and don’t go to the shows. That said, Nas is respected in the game as a legend by those before him & after him. That’s all that really matters.
Good day.
Fuck you SayWhat Illmatic is one of the best of all time. You must be some kind of retard. Nas is a legend first to do a lot of things your favorite artists prolly can’t do now. Don’t respond because you are arguing agains facts.
How did this turn into a top 10 discussion lol… My view, Nas = GOAT… He has a really solid discography… “It was written”/’Illmatic’/'Stillmatic’/'DR’/”Lost Tapes”/’HHID’… btw how the fuck was Stillmatic overrated? With tracks like rewind, one mic, 2nd childhood? Anyway that’s my opinion…
WHAT!!! Theophilus London with Nas and Damian Marley?
Yo if they do Theophilus’s “Grey & Sage” along with Nas & Damian’s “Patience.” I wish I could see that performance if they did it. It’s the perfect segway into their sets.
Outkast > your favorite rapper of all time
