I think he’s one of the most talented to come out in the last couple of years, but man he’s doing it all wrong. We like you for the music you put out on your mixtapes, without all the mainstream trash features that sound all the same. SMH, I was really anticipating a classic too.
Everbody was ridin wit J. Cole at first, but you know its only a matter of time before people turn on you. We hip hop fans are a fickle people.

Yea, I agree. Hip hop fans trap their favorite artist. If the artist does things that will make him a mainstream success, then they call him a sellout.

Say if Cole had made “lost ones” a single now…that shit would get slept on/ no radio buzz/ over too many niggas heads. What Cole is doing is the right move IMO. Get “Can’t get enough” on the radio and hell be moving closer to gaining that mainstream appeal. After that its a wrap! Cole already is finished on his SECOND album he said and I think that might be the “classic” album we all want. With “Work out” and ” can’t get enough” being the only pop ish songs on the album…I think it will be a solid and great album. Cole knows what he’s doing! if you know his past you know he ain’t the type to go the “pop” route.
