It’s not a living hell. But to be fair, 85% of his listening audience doesn’t understand the artistic intent behind his music/showmanship/etc. Nor (if they do understand) do they give it the credence it deserves. He does have legitimate reasons to gripe. He said it himself, he’s lonely. He thinks White America hates him (and to an extent, they do), his mother has passed, and he’s been hurt by a number of women. Yes, he’s been blessed financially but that doesn’t void his right to exercise any emotional or artistic grievances. We do it on hip-hop blogs all the time. His money just lets him do it on the stage at Coachella,Lollapalooza, et al.

He’s just being honest… from what I understand, they say that it’s lonely at the top. But, at the same time, this is what he worked for/hoped for & dreamed of. So, it comes with the territory. Although, I know a million people who would trade places with him in half a heartbeat… myself included. Openly expressing these emotions tho isn’t going to win over any of his detractors. It’s just gonna add more fuel to the fire. It might be easier said than done, but, he’s got to find a way to get past this and just keep making quality/dope music. Eventually people will move on and forget his mistakes. He’s only human, like the rest of us, after all.
