  2. Seriously, Dee-1 is super dope and I Hope They Hear Me V.2 is easily in my top 5 mixtapes of the year so far. Incredibly skilled, incredibly lyrical and great subject matters without getting to preachy, all dude needs is a push and a couple of big guest features and he’d have thousands of fans. Seriously 2dopeboyz, you need to push this guy more than you’ve done in the past because he needs to be heard.

  4. @unclesam.. I 100% AGREE. But artists like him never blow up. The kids think if your a drug dealer, gangsta etc your cool and if your not your not. If he had a gimmick or something and talked about selling drugs and the same things others talk about, he would be more popular. Sad but true.

  10. I have the tape. It’s dope and that’s hard to be while being curse free. This was my favorite track, but the best to me is Writer’s Block. Listen to Writer’s Block by Dee-1 if you have any doubts he’s a emcee. Dude has alot of potential.

  11. Dee-1 is dope, and I see a new era of hip-hop coming. Well, I’m hopeful at least. @stoplying, in the past you would be correct, but rappers are pushing limits nowadays and carving new lanes. The drug and murder lanes are worn away and already beat to death. With that said, I doubt he will go farther than sha stimuli, fashawn, or others like them; great rappers with lyrics too positive or complex for radio. (rambling)
