After the trio leaked five cuts through Twitter without any inclination as to what they were actually for, Wiz finally sheds some light on the situation to MTV.
It’s always fun to be in the position where we could make music that sells to people, videos that people enjoy, and still just drop free music that we feel like is just good stuff. And at the end of the day, we weren’t hearing anything like what we make and I felt like it was time for that. Me and Spitta, we talk all of the time, and it was just a thing where he called me and he was like, ‘Yo, we need to do something,’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, we should do something. We should do this,’ and he was like, ‘Perfect.’
He also speaks on why Big Sean was added to the How Fly duo.
We’ve done that before, so if we did it again, we would just be doing it over,” Wiz said of his and Curren$y’s collabos. “We wanted to do something new, add that new element, and it ended up being real fun. It’s definitely not How Fly 2, but we’ll see what comes of it.
Hopefully they decide to branch this thing they’ve got going to a full project. The leaks were on point.
I thought the leaks were apart of a confirmed project. I’m not sensing that from either Wiz or Big Sean’s interview.

yeah its kinda seeming like its just those 5 tracks.. cant complain its just free music, but i hope some more rappers do shit like this and release projects on a daily basis.. i was diggin those 5 days haha

Wiz Khalifa is so ground breaking….instead of doing something new, he just adds someone to the group and says it;s a new thing. Shut the fuck up you are giving yourself too much credit…Whatever happened to the guy that worse tall tee’s on his mixtape covers?
At this point if I see that Big Sean is on a track I automatically give it a pass.
Some of those collabos were dope as hell though. Sometimes I feel Wiz is just in autopilot..
