  1. such a good cd very solid and very true to the whole persona jay rock has no change in his style

  2. yeah he has lyrcial skill but his music bores me… still a dope emcee but i wont waste harddrive space on this,

    #WTT
    #C4

  3. Great album all around.

  4. wont waste harddrive space? are you kidding me i bet this album is bettr than alot of whatever else you have… that or your just a broke ass and have like 5g of space

  5. ^like i said his music bores me.. same with a lot of kendrick lamar’s stuff. i appreciate how good his album is and how amazing his lyrical skill is but its just down to personal preference. i preferred listening to khalifa’s album than section 80 #justanopinionpleasedontpopaboneroverthecomputercausesomeonedoesntlikekendricklamar

  6. Finest hour? Are you fucking kidding me? That song has been out for almost 2 years.

  7. Its not that you don’t like Kendrick, its that you would rather listen to Rolling Papers over Section.80

  8. is that track with him and weezy old or brand new?

  9. 4 songs i kept so that tells you right away………………

is that track with him and weezy old or brand new?

  10. Nobodys gonna admit Jay Rock is the best of the hippys but you all know he really is. Consistency , bars , beats , hooks and overall well rounded material. Not too mention he’s the on that really put the whole team on.

  11. alright, which one of ya’ll has the link?

  12. lmao Jay Rock is the only Black Hippy that I’ve never been able to listen to AT ALL

    Kendrick Lamar > Ab-Soul >>> Schoolboy Q >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jay Rock

  13. on Wikipedia it states he started recording in 2008. And it shows on some tracks as some sound a lil outdated Dre throwaways with the piano riffs….But seriously, i Like 14 outta 18 tracks. thats considered a good cd homie…

  14. Rio$

what the fuck are you talking about? put what you wrote into a properly constructed sentence

  15. No disrespect to Jay Rock, but he is the Black Hippy member that I am least excited about. He can spit, but I don’t see the creativity as much as with the other 3. Up to this point Kendrick, Ab, and Schoolboy Q have all put out better material than Jay Rock. We will see tho I guess I havnt heard this yet.

  16. I personally love all of black hippy. people that say kendrick is boring or that they’re not feeling the movement just haven’t listened to the music enough. you have to really feel kendrick’s stuff. jay rock is a dope ass emcee and the beats knock on this album. It’s a true west coast gangster hip hop album, regardless of some of the dated tracks. and @codyB…. that was far too long of a hash tag and we’re not on twitter anyways. so don’t hash tag shit you tool. go listen to wiz. LOL.

    WRONG..consistency = Kendrick..bars = Kendrick/Ab tie..beats = Schoolboy..hooks = Ab-Soul..overall well rounded material = Kendrick…everybody knows Jay Rock started TDE but that doesnt mean hes the best

I’ll admit I didn’t think it would be this good

  20. dling now , hopefully its up to the hype i hear good things

  21. album bangs. but aint none of um fuckin wiy pac div

  22. I’m glad most of y’all are feeling the album. I know Jay has the least appeal to the “lyrical” crtic types, but he made some good music on this lp. It’s gangsta, but still accessible and he can paint some pictures man.. Just Like Me is crazy, the message, the intensity..whoa. Even the club tracks are good enough to keep my head nodding without wanting to skip. Hiiipower.

  23. @Mcfly thinks… actually you may wanna go back a check when Jay Rock 1st started poppin up and how many songs he has. Just saying get your facts straight

  24. Jay Rock’s a VERY dope artist, but I don’t feel that he’s the best out of Black Hippy. He’s actually the weakest of the group, but even though he’s the weakest, dude is still better than 85% of the game nowadays.

Nevertheless, buy this album! Support this!

  25. copped on amazon hell yea

  26. everyone talkin about whose the best, who cares?! Jay Rock’s CD is Dope! Period! Buy it!

  27. I’ve ben waiting on new westcoast gangsta classic. this shit fuckin bangs

  28. Buying this and hes probably my least fav. no diss though

    Black Hippy Movement
