The NBA 2K12 commercial that premiered during the NBA Finals
2K Sports is continuing what they started with last year’s incarnation, adding Larry and Magic to the next incarnation of their 2K series. Maybe they’ll allow their respective retro teams to be used during online games as well; I’m sure everybody who played 2K11 got tired of wack players jumping straight to the Heat (you know who you are). Thats why they have jordan, bird and magic on their cover cause of the lockout…but they still have the schedule and they can make updates to the roster when the NBA comes back

NBA hasn’t been this popular/packed with stars in how many years? And they gotta put retro players on again? The lockout has nothing to do with it, they still could’ve put whatever player on the cover. EA did the whole cover voting bracket thing for madden during the lockout. They probably just added new legendary game bullshit challenges for Bird and Magic and everything else will be the same because 2k11 was so successful

I love 2K, but Im sorry I think putting players who arent currently playing is gay. There are so many people to put on the cover [Dirk, D.Rose, Wade/Lebron, Melo, etc]. I dont even like the classic modes too much anyway. But I saw this up there and hell yeah, the Crew shit is slack they need to update it.

Anyone who likes EA is automatically suspect in any video game argument. EA hasn’t been relevant basketball wise since 98. They won’t even be releasing a game this year. As far as the other complaints ya’ll sound like a bunch of babies Wanting the game to hold your hand and shit. That demon line was classic though. Lastly due to the lockout all a current player could get is a headshot with no jersey showing since as of right now they’re unemployed.
