  4. I stay away from anything with DMX’s name on it these days. I don’t want new shit tarnishing my memory of how great his music used to be. First 2 albums were certified classics.

  22. this is actually sad…i felt like hes being exploited watching this…dude has been a drug addict for decades now..and no its not recreational.hes a multi million selling artist..and hes been in jail how many times? how can u keep going back to jail when not only do u have a wife and kids but u are financially stable..this man needs help and his fam needs to tell him to turn the camera off and concentrate on getting help.

  27. I love DMX from the bottom of the heart. His music touched me when I was in middle school/high school. “Some X Shit”, “How’s It Goin Down”, “Stop Being Greedy”, everything about him was real and was one of the few rappers who really sounded like he believed in what he says. He even recorded part of the first album in my hometown, in the hood. It was huge. “And Then There Was X” had a few mishaps, but was still great to me. I really hope he gets back to shape because he’s the only one from the Jay-Z/Nas/Busta era that’s going through all this trouble and he honestly deserves to be in the Top 10 greatest emcees of all time.
