Royce Da 5’9″ – Legendary (prod. Eminem & Travis Barker)

After a week or so with Nickel’s upcoming album (Success Is Certain, Aug. 9th) on the iPod, I’m quite satisfied with it as a whole. And with that said, here goes the intro that leaked out last night. Co-produced by Travis and Em. A fact I was unaware of until Mek just informed me. Dope.

U guys kept this one quiet..

  5. Yes i like this shit!

  6. ILLNESS!!! not feeling the singing in the hook, but the verses make up for that. I want a remix with Lupe!

  7. coincidence how i comment about hopsin, and less than an hour later shake posts the video….

  8. This beat is so dope. Great producing by Em & Travis.

  9. I’m sure Eminem will dumb down that Skepta track after he gets his hands on it.

Too bad he left the underground behind to make corporate-backed mainstream music.

I don’t think he’d even know what to do over a Premier or Alchemist track since his music now caters to the teen pop crowd.

  10. That guitars are exceleeeeeent

  11. This is mad dope, lyrics in this track are amazing, would love to see a good remix on this.

  12. @Rec I dont believe that he’s pushing his music towards the ‘teen pop’ crowd, the only track that he’s released lately that was intented for radio plays is lighers just because of Bruno Mars, as for the 10 other tracks on the HTS EP they were no way favouring the teen pop crowd considering he did diss Lady Gaga/Justin Beiber in one track.

  13. Fucking dope shit. Em is an underrated producer, just look at his track record.

  14. There’s much more to the D than Big Pawn and Royce. If that is as deep as you get into the hip hop and you are from here, that’s even worse. This song is ok and the one good thing I can say about it is that it doesn’t sound like he’s trying hard like he does on so much of his other tracks.

  15. Very dope! Travis kills the drums and Em is a very underrated and skilled producer! If you don’t believe me, listen to most of the tracks on The Eminem Show!

  16. Didn’t listen to this but Eminem’s production sucks ass, similar to his beat selections on his albums. He hasn’t made a single “real” “hip-hop” track since Any Man w/Diamond D. Just because he produces & has had all the opportunities & resources to hone production skills doesn’t mean he’s good at it.

  17. Clint Partie you fucking ignorant closeminded full of bullshit hater . everything you said is false about eminem as producer ,hater! . it justs shows you have no listen to any of eminems music in while . it is fact eminem has made alot of dope hip hop beats in last 3 years but you closeminded & ignorant to know that . so shut you ignorant dumbass

  18. am i the only one who thinks this beat is annoying as fuck?

  19. I think that the Bad Meets Evil project as a whole wasn’t bad, I expected it to be straight pop after an album like Recovery. Eminem needs to stop yelling on every track he gets on, he ruined “I Need A Doctor” with that bullshit. Kinda disappointing that a bunch of 12 year old girls out there are listening to Royce because of “Lighters” with Bruno Mars, but as Drake says “they want the hits, I play the game”.

  20. @James r the real…Learn to speeky thee Inglish.

  22. @tyler d

    yeah you are

  23. Not bad, not amazing, but meh. And as for Em being a “skilled producer” LOL. Funny.
