I’ll be honest; I really don’t know anything about Tito Lopez. But after hearing that performance in the start (I need the legit audio of that song, by the way) I’m definitely interested in hearing more from the Mississippi-bred guy Dre dubbed “The Voice Of The Underdog.”

  2. Maybe if you and Shake would stop sucking Kendrick Lamar’s dick for a day you would realize there is A LOT of talent out there. Talent better than Kendrick, in my opinion. As far as Tito Lopez goes I first heard one of his mixtapes in 2008 I believe. He is all over Datpiff, just search his name.

  26. The Sad thing is… I remember asking Shake and Meka many times why they never posted Tito’s shit… I told somebody the other day watch how fast 2dope posts this shit b/c Dre is on there. Everyone else is right Defsounds, Allhiphop, and Hearitfirst, along with a few other small blogs posted ALL of this dudes shit and the shit was dope. I am glad he made it To Dre without ever being posted on 2dope or Nahright once before today because can’t nobody question whether or not he earned this shit. I know personally that dude worked his ass off just to get to that moment where he was spitting for dre just then… just like a lot of us he was a dude with a dream and now he is making that shit happen. Too bad it took Dre to get on board for 2 dope to see it… it should have been the other way around.

    No, but really, I started listening to Tito way back when he was a featured artist on Defsounds (I’m assuming you’re @CJBlowMusic?) and I’ve been checking for him ever since. I’m glad he’s kept improving and kept driving- he used to be talented. Now its more like… DAMN.

  31. @Ink yep that’s me, bro.I’m glad he didn’t beg them to be on the site though… because now it is clear that he deserves to be on here. Yea dude is in a zone right now…the stuff he’s spitting is top notch. There will be naysayers & people that argue about what Dre won’t help him to do, but I would simply say to them: NWA, Snoop, Tupac, Eminem, 50 Cent, Game…Tito AT LEAST has a chance to rock with Dre and that’s all ANY RAPPER trying to make it could ever really hope for. No matter the avenue he traveled to get to 2dope, I’m just glad that one of the biggest hip hop sites is now willing to post this guy’s music and will be actually checking for it in the future.
