Jay Elec took to twitter this morning to let the fans know that the long-awaited and overdue Act II: Patents Of Nobility is complete. Bun B cosigns. Does this mean we’ll hear a leak soon, or that we’ll hear the album this year? Only time and the enigmatic Jay will tell. Peace to Amaya on the heads up.

he always deletes his tweets after he posts them, for some reason. this got me hyped. reading his tweets over the past week he said the album was “96% finished”, with just the mixing and mastering left. i think he’ll probably wait until Christmastime (ala the last handful years). about to be a gamechanger.

Twitter is his first platform to announce the album in finished. Next he is gonna tumblr it then it’ll be his facebook status then he’ll go on leno to declare his candidacy then 2dbz will post a video from youtube about him on leno. Then we’ll get a google+ about the release date.

Jay Electronica is cool from the few songs that I’ve heard (Shiny Suit Theory and like two others) but he seems to be a VERY big procrastinator. Let’s hope this is real because I don’t trust ANYTHING anyone says on Twitter. Remember that Kanye was supposed to drop an album this summer?
