So with a few days before the West Coast debut of the annual (2)Dope BBQ, I figure it’s time to let more cats out of the bag. If you’ve followed the past couple weeks, you’d know that the event will be Saturday, July 23rd in Los Angeles, and that it will benefit the charity organization Edeyo. Patrons will be asked to provide either a new or gently used backpack, clothing, new, unopened school supplies totaling $10, or a $10 cash donation. All donated items will be used to provide school supplies to children which, as you can see, will put them all into good use.
In other words, the only way you’re getting in is if you donate something. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
But those who do come to the party and donate will be treated in kind to free food and drinks, live music, a chance to win free gifts and much more. What else do you need to know? the thing i find weird is A) that many disliked the post, and B) that many disliked the post, but no one put up a comment saying anything negative backing up their “dislike” (which, sometimes brings a bit of humor if you’re not the gay, sensitive type. i’m a bit disappointed). if i was in LA, i’d be front and center. is there a way you can just donate loot to this?
