So it looks like MTO might have gotten their grubby little hands on the first look at the cover to Hov and Ye’s upcoming album; which is said to be made of metal. Ryan Seacrest is also reporting that we will be getting a new single mid July with the album looking at an August release (w/ a tour to follow). UPDATE: Brought this back up as the artwork has now been confirmed to be legit and the official release date is August 2nd (which is shown when you place your pre-order).

Thats not the complete cover because I think they would at least have the title on it. 1. I Don’t need a mans face on an album cover to appreciate any part of the album any more than I would without a mans face on the front lol
2. This could very well be the finished cover; there’s other albums that don’t have the title written on the front, a lot of artists that go that route just put the title in the form of a sticker on the wrapping.
That said, I like to think jay and ye are more careful in covering their tracks and they could have something up their sleeves considering MTO of all places got the leak..

^^^ because Jay is a business man first so if you people wanna believe he is connected to a higher power hes gonna use that to make a profit. The album cover looks “sacred” and royal in its appearance because the albums called Watch The Throne. The album case is metal and thats Jays way of just adding value to the hard copy because people dont appreciate what they dont work for. So if they download something the reason why it doesnt matter the next week is cause they didnt work ( pay ) for it so its little to no emotional connection. Jay knows this and by making people want the hard copy he creates “the album experience” of going to the store and grabbing the cd and holding the art in your hands then ripping off the plastic and getting back in the car and putting the cd in. That means a person had to fit a time frame in their schedule to go get the album so their gonna listen to it with more appreciation. The artwork is also a conversation piece , meaning that people who see it and dont know whats on it will want to listen. These are things that digital free downloads cant do and part of the reason the quality of music is slowly going down. Thank you and have a nice day. BTW I like free shit , I just dont know how the culture will be able to use that too an advantage.
