  8. nyc brooklyn and black snow not talkin shit ……mmmmmmmmmmm wow
    cole world cole summer

  9. J.Cole.. Kendrick raised the bar with Section 80.. the ball is in your court homie, don’t let us down..

  10. K.Dot definitely raised the bar, but at the same time as much as were grouping the two together, they’re obviously trying to fit different lanes (independant vs major argument)Still though, Section80 was incredibly dope, I’ve had Rigamortus on repeat for like 6 hours now. Im definitely hoping that Cole’s project will be just as dope.

Also, Section80 #1 on iTunes? And #3 behind Neyonce and Adele? #OhShit

  11. also whats the point of posting under the name another nigga uses? Definitely some troll shit if I ever saw it…

  12. ^^^
Why do people like you always try to compare artists? Each artist has their own style. That’s like comparing Nas with Jay-Z, just because they are both great rappers doesn’t mean they set the bar for each other.

Why don’t you do us all a favor and shut the fuck up and head-butt a knife? Thanks in advance.

  13. No Makeup (her vice) is a 10000x better than work out. why must rappers think its a good idea to sing their own hooks? shit is horrible. Good luck cole ur gonna need it.

  14. he know his first verse sucks, this the third time he starts from 2nd verse, haha, jus make a new one cole

  15. real shit, give this song a month and i promise it will on the Hot 100. heating up your local airwaves. its a good first single especially if the next one is a banger

  16. I think singing or harmonizing your hooks is cool just as long as your good at it. J cole should just rap his hooks. Back in the day 50 cent used to harmonize every hook he did for his first two albums but the thing is he was good at it. As for Kendrick vs J cole , thats two different lanes and I really cant say one is better then the other. J cole is more about bars and Kendrick is rapping according to the melody of the beat now , either super fast or really melodically so there styles are completely different at this point. Where is the Work Out video?

  17. who the fuck is this, instant mailing me at 1:56 in the morning…oh little nephew.

I was gonna avoid 2DBZ on this glorious holiday weekend. I figured let the children go outside. breathe God’s winds and absorb God’s light. I had bible studies earlier this afternoon, yes the nigga NYC/BROOKLYN has a pair of church shoes. I’m not gonna go in depth of what passages of the bible the Rev was giving knowledge on, but one example was about a brother name Simon that was chosen to help Jesus carry the cross. it’s kind of ironic that another live video performance of the song “work out” shows up again on 2DBZ. is this a force feeding frenzy that’s going on? the song gets worse after every listen. to that knuckle saying “give this song a month and i promise it will on the Hot 100″. really? who are you? A. Hole’s conscience? give the song one more month and A. Hole’s career is gonna be hanging in the balance. just look at this nigga performing the song, he looks uncomfortable and hesitant to even finish the BS song. the expression on the keyboard guy in the beginning is priceless. this nigga arms are on his side looking at A. Hole like don’t do it nigga, don’t…awww fuck, not this work out shit again! the crowd is reacting like my bible study crew this afternoon. Rev was kickin’ wisdom and throwing in his personal problems in the mix and we like, nah Rev we was told this was some free community service class, get that money basket out of my face and keep it moving. this “work out” BS is embarrassing like them hillbilly jim vests this nigga is rockin’. just look at the body language of the keyboard guy throughout the performance. reminds what I said earlier about the bible study subject on Simon. the keyboard guy could of helped out, but he’s gonna stay in the sideline and be a witness to a crucifixion. A. HOLE YOU PAPOOSED YOURSELF!

  31. j. cole is a sellin out intended bitch. fuck u blind niggaz

  32. WHEN THERE’S NYC/BROOKLYN, ONE CAN EXPECT BLACK SNOW IS COMING.

    IM HERE, WHO SUMMONS ME?

FIRST OFF, KENDRICK LAMAR JUST PROVED HE’S SITTING COMFORTABLY IN J. COLE’S LANE AS THAT STREET POET WITH A REVOLUTIONARY MESSAGE.

COLE BETTER SMARTEN UP AND STOP CUSSIN. AND BECOME THE MLK JR OF THIS CONSCIOUS RAP REVIVAL, BECAUSE KENDRICK IS THE MALCOLM. THE KID HAS THE IRE AND FIRE THAT COLE ONLY POSSESSES SOMETIMES.

KENDRICK’S ALBUM IS NOT A CLASSIC, BUT IT SETS A STANDARD FOR THE REST. KRIT I STILL THINK IS THE BEST OF THE NEW CLASS, WITH THE OVERALL TALENT TO PRODUCE WELL, WRITE WELL, AND MAKE CAPTIVATING VIDEOS.

BUT NO TO DIGRESS, COLE JUST LOST ONE,NO PUN INTENDED, WITH KENDRICK’S RELEASE. I EVEN HAVE TO ADMIT THAT TAMMY’S SONG IS BETTER THAN I INITIALLY THOUGHT, WHICH MAKES IT BETTER THAN COLE’S WORK OUT (STILL THAT IS NOT SAYING MUCH).

BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD COLE. YOU BEHIND YOUR PEERS, NOT IN TERMS OF JUST MARKETABILITY, BUT LYRICAL PROWESS.

COLE NEEDS TO GET BACK TO STUDENT LOANS, AND AFTER COLLEGE GROWING PAINS. HIS EFFORT TO REPRESENT THE STREETS WILL BE UNDERCUT BY KENDRICK’S MOVEMENT (BECAUSE KENDRICK IS MORE BELIEVABLE BUT NOT AS MARKETABLE FOR A REASON).

THEN THE LIKES OF FASHAWN, KRIT, BLU, AND OTHERS KNOW HOW TO CREATE SONGS, WHICH COLE HAS YET TO FIGURE OUT. IF YOU YOU DO NOT AGREE, LISTEN TO BOY MEETS WORLD, BELOW THE HEAVENS, AND RETURNOF4EVA AGAIN. EXILE PRODUCES SONGS THAT MAKE COLE LOOK LIKE AN AMATEUR. AND KRIT, YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT HE’S HITTIN FOR.

SMARTEN UP COLE, TIME TO STOP THAT HARD STREET TALK AND KEEP IT REALISTIC. AND NO MAS WITH THESE CROSSOVER ATTEMPTS, IT’S MESSIN WITH YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS. DROP KNIGHT RIDER NOW AND STOP TRYING TO MASTERMIND THE GAME BEFORE YOU EVEN DROP OFFICIALLY. BECAUSE YOU MIGHT JUST GET DROPPED OFFICIALLY.

AND KRIT IS DROPPING THE SAME DAY. HE MAY NOT SELL AS MUCH BUT I ANTICIPATE HIS ALBUM WILL BE MORE ADVANCED. HE HAS THE TRACK RECORD, NO PUN INTENDED.

COLE, YOU IN A TIGHT SPOT. PRESSURE IS ON AND IM NOT SEEING DIAMOND WHEN YOU DROP TRASH LIKE WORK OUT.

  33. I like J Cole but he makes the most forgettable verses ever for someone who has the talent he has.

Black: Your right. Kendrick has his lane. He’s the Malcolm X.

Cole is about to be Jessie Jackson. Always chasing the dollar “See this single Release” and always saying something even though he’s really not saying anything.

  34. I love J Cole but after hearing this song for a few times and now live…I can just say that I hope the Sideline Story’s worst song is this one right here.
    Cole World!

  35. Damn, alot of niggas in here writing off cole EARLY based off Work Out. Some niggas think they got a crystal ball seeing into the future predicting the major downfall talking about he’ll be gone for good before the album even drops smh really sad but i believe u guys are underestimataing his potential i think he’ll blow up for sure and IF that really happens there’s gonna be alot of dudes will be taking a huge L for bashing cole and pretty much expecting him to fail to the point of falling off the face of the earth (i.e. nyc/brooklyn, Rezo and a bunch of other pessimistic cynical ass critics who think highly of their opinions on cole)

  36. damn imma laugh when cole’s shits a yall opions and he sells

  37. IF cole Blows UP…. , Its not a matter of if Cole blows up because he has been blew up a long time ago. The question is does he have the material on the album to make everybody else see what his fans see in him. People are writing him off because of the songs they heard because nobody has heard the album yet. If Cole would have dropped something in April then it would be a different story but now hes planning to release his album at a time when he has no choice but to make every song incredible. Im not saying he cant do it im just saying its not looking good at all. Work Out even though people on here dont like it , is the only thing keeping his buzz alive right now. I dont think Kendrick is in his lane just yet though because Cole has alot more advantages on his side like TV and Radio.

  38. kendrick and krit they not even on COLE level in buzz and u comparing them to cole? ahahha funny shit… work out is a commercial song with not feature for the radios and tv with video….where is kendrick on radio or tv? where is krit at with promo, single, and touring? is album is coming at same time as cole and i see cole trying to get out there and showing work….9/27 cole world.

  39. @mrcapela KRIT is on MTV with this Country Shit video with Ludacris and Bun B, and they play it on the radio out here in the East coast. He’s on tour right now. Kendrick may not have any radio presence yet, but he can easily get on TV. It’s more accessible nowadays for a guy to get his video on MTV. Cole has ALL of those outlets to his disposal and he’s not utilizing it enough with a better single. But he may got a better one in the stash, but right now based on this? I don’t see it picking up

  40. better single? do want cole to jump with chris brown on single like big sean did just to chart and be on tv?….work out is not a bad single for clubs and radio and he’s trying to get new fans with the new single… u all taking like cole changed into a pop artist when is not true.
Cole just left UK (wireless festival) straight to LOUD tour with rihanna… what kendrick or krit are doing to promo their shit? cuz the like time i checked krit album is out on 9/27 and he don’t buzz like cole…so u all stop your cole hating and support.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQx9cwOXPV0&feature=player_embedded — check this new interview…cole haters…

  41. This shit crazy baby shady lady maybe jay z lazy stacey lattisaw aderol popppopopopppa pistol gullsy skully fully shiett nahMEeaNNN

  42. some of you niggas must not know that unless your Jay, Kanye, or Wayne then your song doesnt automatically get put on radio station’s playlist. the song needs time to build up. for example, Lupe’s Show Goes On came out in Oct and didnt hit the Hot 100 until Dec/Jan and didnt reach the top 10 until last month. yall niggas to busy hating to realize the facts

  43. I was there, right at the front… UNREAL. Even spoke to Cole himself. Cole World.

  44. haters shut up and check the best COLE interview for all u hating on on him right now… http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=VdDLaoJleOU

  45. FOR EVERYONE THAT SAYS THEY HATE THE KENDRICK COMPARISON.

    WHY SO SERIOUS?

PAC WAS COMPARED TO BIGGIE. NAS WAS COMPARED TO RAKIM. AND JAY Z TO JAZ O. IT IS A PART OF RAP AND MUSIC. GET OVER YOUR SENSITIVITY.

TO PEOPLE MENTIONING UNOFFICIAL SONGS LIKE LOST ONES, WHICH IS 3 YEARS OLD. SONGS LIKE RETURN OF SIMBA, WHICH IS NOT ON THE ALBUM. IT WON’T BE LONG, WHICH IS NOT ON THE ALBUM. AND BLOW UP, WHICH IS OFF A MIXTAPE. AND CHEER UP, WHICH IS A GARBAGE TRACK (JUST BECAUSE IT’S CONSCIOUS DOESN’T MEAN IT’S GOOD). EVEN LOST ONES IS UNORIGINAL AND UNINSPIRED, SOUNDS LIKE HE SAT ON THAT ONE TOO LONG.

THOSE SONGS MEAN NOTHING, BECAUSE ONLY MAY BE ONE WILL MAKE IT ON THE ALBUM. AND IF HE PUTS THE OTHERS ON THERE, THEN THAT IS A JOKE (AND YOU STANS HAVE JUST BEEN PLAYED LIKE BIG SEAN DID TO HIS FOLLOWERS).

COLE IS THE ONE CREATING ALL THIS BACKLASH WHEN HE SAYS ALL HE MAKES ARE CLASSICS, HE’S GOT A GEM, HE’S GONNA CHANGE THE GAME BY PLAYING THE GAME (WHAT IS HE NEO NOW IN THE MATRIX; GET OUTTA HERE WITH THAT). NO ONE WANTS TO HERE YOUR SELF SERVING RANTS, AND THEN YOU MAKING EXCUSES AS TO WHY YOU DO GARBAGE SONGS. TOOK HIM A YEAR TO ADMIT WHO DAT WAS A FAILURE, WHEN WE KNEW IT THE FIRST WEEK.

IT WILL TAKE HIM ANOTHER YEAR TO REALIZE WORK OUT IS A FAILURE. BUT WHEN YOU HAVE ENABLERS AROUND YOU LIKE LEBRON, YOU MAKE POOR DECISIONS, NO PUN INTENDED. YOU WANT TO CROSSOVER OR YOU WANT TO MAKE GOOD MUSIC, BECAUSE YOU CANNOT DO BOTH IF PEOPLE CANNOT RELATE.

COLE CUSSES TOO MUCH FOR A COLLEGE EDUCATED ARTISTS, AND THAT WILL NOT FLY WITH THE MAINSTREAM. HIS STREET SONGS ARE JUST FREESTYLES WITHOUT HOOKS. AND MOST OF HIS SONGS LACK STRUCTURE. COLE IS IN HIS OWN HEAD AND FORGETS THAT THE AUDIENCE DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO SEE HIS GREATER VISION, WHEN THEY HAVE BILLS, KIDS, SCHOOLS, LOANS, AND OTHER DRAMA TO DEAL WITH.

HE BETTER SHOW SOME HUMILITY SOON OR 9/27 WILL BE THE DAY THAT REALITY HITS.

AND THOSE SAYING KRIT AND KENDRICK DO NOT HAVE THE PUSH. THOSE GUYS HAVE PROVEN THEY ARE BUILT TO LAST, WHEREAS COLE IS HIT AND MISS. HE IS TRYING TO MAKE A ALBUM THAT IS UNIVERSAL BEFORE MAKING A SONG. THAT IS WHY HE WILL BE JUST ANOTHER WALE. BIG LABEL PUSH, AND NO CRITICAL OR UNDERGROUND ACCLAIM. THE MAINSTREAM MIGHT NOT EVEN LIKE IT EITHER WHEN THEY HAVE DRAKE AND THEM TO LOOK FORWARD TO.

FINALLY, CROSSOVER SONGS ARE HANDICAPS FOR ARTISTS WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN THEIR MUSIC OR DO NOT HAVE GOOD SONGS. ALL I HEAR IS PEOPLE MAKING EXCUSES FOR WHY HE DROPPED WORK OUT. AND THEN SAYING KANYE DID IT (WHICH IS A COMPARISON BUT IT’S OK WHEN IS A PRO ARGUMENT… GET OUTTA HERE WITH THAT TOO). KANYE’S FIRST SINGLE WAS THROUGH THE WIRE. AND THAT SONG WAS WHAT PUSHED THAT ALBUM, INITIALLY. SLOW JAMZ AND NEW WORKOUT PLAN WERE IN BETWEEN CLASSIC SONGS LIKE ALL FALLS DOWN AND JESUS WALKS.

AND COLE’S CHEER UP IS NO ALL FALLS DOWN. AND I DO NOT SEE HIM CREATING A JESUS WALKS. HE LACKS THE VISION AND TALENT OF KANYE.

COLE APPARENTLY DID NOT STUDY KANYE CLOSELY ENOUGH, BECAUSE JESUS WALKS WAS THE SINGLE THAT MADE THAT ALBUM UNIVERSAL WITHOUT TRYING TO CROSSOVER AND APPEAL TO THE MASSES. IT’S CALLED GOOD MUSIC.

COLE WANTS TO BE A BUSINESSMAN MORE THAN A RAPPER. IT’S COOL TO MAKE MONEY FOR WHAT YOU LOVE BUT IF THAT IS A BIGGER THAN DRIVE THAN DOING THE ACTUAL WORK, THEN YOU WILL LOSE EVERY TIME. JUST SAYIN.

I EXPECT COLE’S ALBUM TO BE PUSHED BACK ANYWAYS.

  46. big krit last mixtape it was suppose to be an album but with no buzz came out as a mixtape… kendrick can even drop a real album to the masses why? no buzz…what kendrick does that going to change the hiphop game? nothing…

“OLE WANTS TO BE A BUSINESSMAN MORE THAN A RAPPER. IT’S COOL TO MAKE MONEY FOR WHAT YOU LOVE BUT IF THAT IS A BIGGER THAN DRIVE THAN DOING THE ACTUAL WORK, THEN YOU WILL LOSE EVERY TIME. JUST SAYIN.”

jay z lost? kanye lost? 50cent lost? lil wayne lost? they all rappers and businessman.. and they all winning…

“I EXPECT COLE’S ALBUM TO BE PUSHED BACK ANYWAYS.” — how about krit album? hahah no single out yet…no buzz in US or outside US… and the album has the same date as COLE 9/27…

COLE is rapper/producer, is touring with rihanna, did with drake and is coming to uk to do with tinie tempah (big over here) so Cole wants to be more than just underground artist ( kendrick and krit…)

Cole fans know that from the start!

    COLE WORLD – TSS 9/27/11

  47. WHAT YOU CONSIDERING WINNING, I SEE AS LOSING.

JAY Z, KANYE, AND 50 CENT HAVE SOLD OUT FOR SOMETHING THAT IS TEMPORARY. BUT YOU SEEM FASCINATED BY THE DOLLAR.

I HAVE MONEY, AND SO DO MANY OTHER PEOPLE. BUT RICHES DO NOT MAKE YOU A WINNER. IT JUST MAKES YOU RICH.

AND BEING RICH IS NOT NECESSARILY A WINNING SITUATION, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE TRADED SOMETHING INVALUABLE (I.E. INTEGRITY, SOUL, LIFE) FOR RICHES.

I LISTEN, BECAUSE MUSIC IS SUPPOSE TO INSPIRE, THUS THE ROOT WORD MUSE. BUT IF MONEY IS THE OVERRIDING INSPIRATION, THEN YOUR MUSIC WILL SUFFER.

REMEMBER, JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING SELLS DOES NOT MEAN IT IS GOOD FOR YOU OR ANYONE ELSE. THIS IS BIGGER THAN HIP-HOP. IT IS ABOUT LIFE CHOICES, SOMETHING THAT BOB MARLEY AND OTHER LEGENDS TRY TO PUSH. NOW, THAT’S GOOD MUSIC.

I DO NOT EXPECT ANOTHER JESUS WALKS FROM KANYE. AND FOR THAT, I AM DISAPPOINTED. NEVER WAS A JAY Z OR 50 FAN. AND IF COLE IS SEEKING TO BE IN THEIR POSITION, THEN YOU TOO SHOULD QUESTION IF THAT IS SOMETHING YOU AGREE WITH

  48. fuck yea J.cole yu hella
of a badazz rapper.. cold world everyday. no blanket!!!
