De’1 – Uneke (prod. K-Def) [1994]

True story: K-Def is amazing behind the boards, b.u.t. does not get the credit he deserves. It’s pretty unfortunate, however I foresee this changing very soon. Having studied directly under Marley Marl, K-Def has constructed classics for LL Cool J, Lords of the Underground, Artifacts, Tragedy Khadafi (Intelligent Hoodlum), A.D.O.R., handled damn near all the production for Real Live’s The Turnaround as well as production for Diddy’s camp. This is a joint that was released in ’94 produced by K-Def and featured his crazy turntable skills. Currently, the dopehouse is working closely with K-Def, Redefinition Records, Al Lindstrom and The Lost Tapes to compile his best work and re-introduce K-Def to those who may not be familiar with the man and his amazing discography.
