  11. I absolutely hated “Nothing Without Providence”. Way to top 40 sounding for my taste but this joint is pretty ill. I ain’t really feeling the chorus part, it drags the song down in my opinion. I was going pass on the album but I’ll give the new album a listen. It may not be as good as God & Girls but I’m sure I’ll find a couple of good joints to listen to.

  12. @dbl You are entitled to your opinion and if you do not like the song that is one thing. But how can you assume the intention of the song or the artist creating that song. Tell us why you don’t like the song. Delivery? Lyrics? Hook? Production? For me, this is close to a perfect song. The track selection fits the song concept perfectly. The metaphor of the girl/situation as a neon sign is original and clever. The imagery is beautifully descriptive, allowing me to place myself in the narrator’s shoes and connect with the artist. Saudade is a great record and I encourage people to check it out.
