Jesse Abraham – Words Past The Margin f. Blu (prod. !LLmind)

The Brooklyn-helmed Jesse ran into me on Friday during the sold-out Kendrick Lamar show and gave me his business card which resembled the MTA Metro Cards you get out here, and for some reason that stuck in my head. SO, here’s his cut with Los Angeles’ nomadic wonder off his One Day project.

  1. I really don’t like this guy….

  2. Jesse, not Blu

  3. blu destroyed this thing.. but jesse?

  4. I skipped the first verse and went straight to Blu. That other guy needs work on his flow and delivery to be anything more than boring.

  5. jessee sounds a lot like new cage on the first part
    and blu killed it
    a dope beat too

  6. Downloaded for the blu verse and the illmind beat

  7. jesse dude sounds better then 80% of the crap on this site…
longest verse from blu in a while

  8. @rez
Jesse may have better bars than most, but I can’t agree that he sounds better. he just sounds like he’s reading a dictionary, and i used to be like that, but i feel dude needs to tone it down.

  9. This is dope track. !LLmind did work on the track. Jesse’s verses held their own with Blu in my opinion, but I agree that he needs work on the voice/flow.

  10. Definitely disagree with some of you guys on here. Jesse’s second verse especially showcased his skill.

  11. I like it cus it sounds different .. but thats also putting people off

  12. I just noticed, blu’s verse is, the verse from above crenshaw on noyork.
