  1. he killed it

  2. Glad to see this online. I know it was a great show, but the game was on so I couldn’t change to this. Wayne=One of the best performers ever.

  3. Why the hell would he do that? I’m so completely uninterested right now… I’ll watch this tomorrow. Maybe. If I’m not re-watching the game on DVR.

  4. Honestly, it was an OKAY performance. I liked Mr. Carter and 6 foot and Fireman, but the rest was ehh. Plus, the way that he did Hail Mary…just ruined the entire experience. Overall, I won’t lie and say that Wayne is a DOPE performer…but this just wasn’t one of those performances to me.
(Also, proof that How to Love was pure auto tone is in this video. And fuckin’ WOW at the crowd shoutin Suwu…smh)

  5. LMAO. Are there any lil Wayne fans who aren’t NBA fans? Nobody watched this I bet.

  6. He could not have scheduled this at a worse time. I thought the whole purpose behind this performance was to help put him back on people’s radars and promote Tha Carter IV. However, the NBA Finals were on. Enough said.

However, (lol), I did watch the performance and I thought it was really good. He incorporated a lot of stuff he does on tour so it was cool to watch. I enjoyed Nightmares of the Bottom, I hope it has a dope hook and becomes a single.

And for those who don’t know, he performed the first verse from Nightmares of the Bottom at the end of every concert in this year’s tour. Pretty cool stuff.

  7. wasnt unplugged at all……
glad the series is back. hope everyone doesnt follow wayne’s lead though

  8. Fucking dumb Nigga don’t you know whatan Unplugged concert is?

  9. nightmares of the bottom sounds real promising with the right hook and flow, that can be a big track. Carter 4!
performances are pretty dope, he just brings a lot of energy, humor and charisma.

  10. Thought the point of “Unplugged” was to use accoustic instruments. I guess cause hes a rap guy he can just use electric guitars and basses instead of a DJ?

Also the timing of the show doesn’t matter, MTV will re-air this 5 million times.

  11. wayne has lyrics, but theyre still all over the place–> Nightmares of the Bottom

  12. ^^ that’s his trademark now, once in a while we’ll get songs like dr carter, tie my hands etc but for the rest it’ll be lyrical but all over the place. i dont mind because that’s what i expect with weezy. a song like told yall to me is great. i think told yall should’ve been the 1st single, even though i like 6’7.

    HES BACK !!

  14. I thought ‘Nightmares Of The Bottom’ was by far the best track. I’m actually pretty excited to hear Carter 4 now.

  15. Real HipHop

    Weezy did his thing.

  16. Sike nigga weezy aint hip hop LMAO

  17. In WEEZY we trust

  18. @one If Lil Wayne isn’t a hip hop artist, then what is he? Man, I fuckin hate niggas like you. Just cause he don’t sound like kendrick, nas, jay, kanye, tyler, cole, blu or whatever YOU consider “hip hop”, doesn’t mean that he isn’t hip hop. Lil Wayne raps, you may not agree with his lyrics or beat choice, but the fact is, he IS a hip hop artist whether you hate him or not. Hip hop is so diverse, but people have to go and limit it to a single subculture. He makes great music in my eyes, and a lot of other peoples too. It’s 2011, music changes man, you can’t fight the future…

  19. OH YEAH, Nightmares of the bottom is an AMAZING SONG. Steady on repeat over here yo. lol!

  20. unplugged emans no electric guitars, not just a live band…

  21. SMH this ain’t even unplugged there are electric guitars…
    Good live tho.

  22. the best rapper alive.

  23. most overrated rapper of all time and a complete poser..

he has yet to even top Carter 2, and that was 6 years ago…

  24. Nas hasn’t topped Illmatic and that was 17 years ago, Nas must be even more overrated.

  25. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbmTj-u1LMg

talib kweli speaking on all the lil wayne hate, pretty interesting

  26. co sign @ jim

  27. shit was not unplugged

  28. most overrated clown ever in music..he’s horrible and makes no sense with his lyrics..like dood mentioned above..hes all over the place but he aint getting a pass from me with that.did u see the fans at the show..bunch of teeny boppers and snow bunnies..lol please

  29. lil wayne did it..but this was not unplugged..smh
….been wantin 2 chat wit my bfriend in army, but couldn’t afford a laptop..this site email me a coupon & i picked it up 1 no cost sameday.. http://goo.gl/C3snh

  30. @ jim…many people actually consider it was written and stillmatic better than illmatic but it’s also a shitty comparison as well…illmatic > 95% of the albums ever since…that album will always be top 10 all time

i’ll watch this later though…weezy knows how to put on a show

  31. @SIX it’s MTV what do you expect there gonna invite a bunch of sweaty fat fucks for the show? No it’s all a strategy to get ratings

  32. I usually hate on Lil Wayne but that Nightmares From The Bottom seems real dope. Looking forward to the CDQ.

  33. http://badbitchesxcomicbooks.tumblr.com/post/6071712857/the-debut-album-from-one-of-detroits-hottest

    dope site

  34. yeah, definitely the weakest “unplugged” I’ve ever seen… essentially a normal lil wayne concert…not really worth seeing imo
